US warship seizes huge cache of Iranian-made weapons including surface-to-air missiles from a vessel heading for Yemen in the Arabian Sea

A United States warship has seized a cache of Iranian-manufactured weapons heading to war-torn Yemen.

The USS Normandy boarded a dhow sailing vessel in the Arabian Sea on Sunday and found 150 anti-tank guided missiles and three surface-to-air missiles.

American Navy officials said the weapon design could be traced back to Iran, which is banned from shipping arms outside the country unless approved by the UN.
