Salisbury University Police Department is investigating another case of racist graffiti on campus. This time, it was found in Henson Hall.
Reports from students say the graffiti was found in the stairway closest to Devilbiss Hall toward the third floor, but this has not been confirmed by police.
Police have determined that there is no immediate threat to campus or surrounding community, according to a statement by SUPD.

Closing the University to "heal" is the most snowflake, ridiculous thing I've ever heard of. I wonder how many more DUIs and increased service calls the SPD will have to deal with because of all the "healing" that will be going at bars and house parties. Then, after all the wasted manpower to investigate this B.S., if it is found to be a person of color who perpetrated it then all will be forgotten and no charges will be filed - just like LAST TIME. SU is an embarrassment. P.S., thank you Jake Day for your opinion, but I think we all know you need to worry about what goes on in your own house first.

ReplyDeleteIf they don’t get a reaction or the concessions and glorification they thrive on, if they keep it low key for an internal investigation, they’ll keep doing it. Worse and worse, until the finally get the attention they crave. It’s a no win situation.
ReplyDeleteThe only way to end it, is to stop treating it like a big deal. Send the janitor to clean it up. Offer counseling to any students who claim to be traumatized. Period.
When it’s discovered to be a black that did it, as it almost always is, plaster their name and face all over the media. Kick them out of school, no refunds. And make them ineligible for financial aid for five years.
