LGBT activists have demanded the United Methodist Church reject the teachings of the Bible on marriage and homosexuality — to accommodate their lifestyle choices.
The traditional Methodist denomination would continue to follow the teachings of the Bible regarding marriage and ordination. The other denomination would ignore the teachings of the Bible on marriage and LGBT ordination.

As a Methodist, I have understand that Gods word and the 10 commandments are the remnants to live our lives by. In no way do we get to make up our own interpretation of his word without consequences. I’m sure I’ll be blasted by all manner of folks for saying this, but Gods word is just that, GODs WORD

ReplyDeleteI know numerous people that have left Asbury Here in Salisbury because of it's promoting gay marriage, performing gay marriages, and having a gay minister giving sermons on a regular basis.
