Route 50 Shut Down In Whaleyville

The West bound lanes of Route 50  at Route 610 have been shut down due to an accident.  Traffic is being detoured onto Old Ocean City Road.  Avoid the area if possible.

    big detour due to a bad accident last night , also on 50 west but a little further down. Soon we will have stop lights every 70 ft from here to Salisbury

    Tonight, i passed by there and a light pole was laying on it's side on the westbound ramp off of 610. Last night, around the same time, a motorcycle just west of Sixty Foot Road laying against a light pole.
    Come on folks... PUT YOUR PHONES DOWNS AND PAY ATTENTION!!!! Look twice and estimate the speed of the traffic. It's NOT rocket science.
