Fire investigators in Massachusetts are hoping to help pull the plug on a new viral “challenge” that may be redefining the word “stupid.”
It’s called the “outlet challenge.” Participants insert the plug part of a phone-charger cord only part of the way in, then try to produce a spark by touching a penny to the exposed prongs.
The challenge has been linked to scorchings of outlets in Holden and Plymouth as well as a fire at Westford Academy, where one student is facing criminal charges, Boston’s WBZ-TV reported. Officials are also warning of the possibility of death by electrocution.

ReplyDeleteLet them go for it and maybe swallow a Tide Pod or two/three/four/fifty for good measure. I think a cleansing of the gene pool is far too long overdue and needs years of being brought up to date. Many problems would be resolved fairly quickly, and permanently, that our "brilliant' politicians would NEVER be willing to do and would cause them to lose voters. Whether that voter was illegal, dead, incompetent, or just a plain idiot, the prime democrat voters, this thought would be a total outrage and would warrant impeachment, jail, and death or worse for the one who spoke of this. Just make sure they are standing in a very wet area--with a good power surge at the right time would work wonders. These creatures are disgusting.
