ReplyDeleteI had high hopes for King when he first announced his candidacy. I read and listened to everything that he put out for consideration. Unfortunately it was apparent that he was ill prepared and lacked the political speak that is necessary to run for office. He may have had a few good ideas but lacked the ability prove competence for the Office of Mayor. Maybe the next election will uncover a true conservative that can reach the majority of the electorate. I do believe there are enough conservatives in Salisbury to elect a Republican Mayor but he must do more than point out what is wrong with the City.

I live out of city limits but I still frequent city functions, shop city stores, visit city attractions and events but because I’m 3 miles out of the limits I can’t vote for a Mayor that runs the city I live in and that my kids go to school in. With Salisbury being approximately 90% rentals and transient the people move from rental to rental. I'm thinking that they may be registered and don't think they can vote in their new addresses. Something else they couldn't have moved out of the city or county and the voter rolls have never been purged. That would be my guess. I bet most of the registered voters don't even live in Salisbury anymore.

Dunn was nuttin' all over himself "we are in the presence of rock star greatness". Dunn had made a career out of kissing any and all asses he comes across

Jonathan Taylor has too many bill collectors looking for him to be going public. He would also lose his esteem welfare status if he demonstrated he had money to run a campaign. Not like Johnny knows the crime de la cream of Salisbury. Poor idiot probably didn’t even have a treasurer for his campaign. He ran as a spoof. Maybe someone else put his name in and he said what the heck. Nobody knows and much more, nobody cares. The guy’s a blight on the Salisbury scene. He’s one of the reasons why Salisbury is just a backstabbing clump of sand.

ReplyDeleteWell Salisbury you not only elected Jake but you elected to allow the continued problems within Salisbury police department. By electing Jake Day you are stuck with Barb’s another 4 years. Don’t want to hear the complaints. You had a choice to make a significant change throughout the city and you failed.
