Former Md. Del. Cheryl Glenn pleads guilty to federal wire services, bribery charges

BALTIMORE —Former Maryland Del. Cheryl Glenn pleaded guilty Wednesday to wire fraud and bribery charges.

Prosecutors said she accepted thousands of dollars in bribes in exchange for voting on certain bills.

While Glenn said nothing as she was led out of the courthouse; inside, she admitted to the judge that she did commit wire fraud and bribery.

The former delegate remained tight lipped as she left the U.S. district courthouse downtown.
