CLAIM: President Donald Trump wants to cancel health insurance coverage for people with pre-existing conditions.
VERDICT: False. Trump supports repealing Obamacare but has always backed coverage for pre-existing conditions.
CNN moderator Abby Phillip stated several false or contested claims as facts at the Democrat debate on Tuesday night.
One was the claim that President Trump wants to end health insurance coverage for pre-existing conditions, simply because the president also supports a court challenge to Obamacare. In fact, while repealing the individual mandate of Obamacare, and backing a full “repeal and replace,” Trump has always insisted on covering people with pre-existing health conditions.

Well, Obama Care includes the pre-existing condition, so repealing the whole thing would get rid of that.
ReplyDeleteWell when are the people of this country going to have enough of this BS and do something about it
DeletePre-existing conditions effects a lot of people, and most often it is something that may exist through a life time. If insurance did not cover it patients could receive bills for years that would not be covered, and would financially effect many. I am glad this President like no other in history thinks about long term care and when a patient goes on Medicare they need every cent to survive with the high cost of prescriptions, which is something else he like no other is trying to cut down costs to the consumer. I don't know how the Democrats can hate him like they do he has made a lot of changes to benefit all Americans and protects us like the border wall. More people would loose their jobs if thousands come into this country every year and are willing to work for less, there would be no job security to those that are already part of our work force. We must put America first and Trump understands this.
