"That's How Business Works": Burisma Board Member Admits Hunter Biden Was Picked "Because Of His Name"

Former Polish president Aleksander Kwasniewski - a current board member for Ukrainian gas company Burisma, admitted to AP that Hunter Biden was picked to sit on the company's board because of his name, and that's 'just how the world works.'

Still, he insists that the younger Biden never leveraged his relationship with his father to further the company's interests - such as the time Joe threatened to withhold $1 billion in US aid unless Ukraine's top prosecutor, who was investigating Burisma, was fired.

"I understand that if someone asks me to be part of some project it’s not only because I’m so good, it’s also because I am Kwasniewski and I am a former president of Poland. ... Being Biden is not bad. It’s a good name," he said.

DOJ Watchdog Expected To Downgrade 'Spying' On Trump Campaign To 'Typical Law Enforcement Activities'

In late September, RealClearInvestigations' Paul Sperry suggested that Inspector General Michael Horowitz - tasked with investigating and exposing wrongdoing at the highest levels - was feared to be pulling punches in order to protect establishment darlings in his upcoming report on the Russia investigation.

Now we learn that Horowitz, who volunteered on several Democratic political campaigns while in college and is married to a former liberal political activist, Obama donor and CNN employee, is expected to conclude that the FBI didn't spy on the Trump campaign.

Instead, when longtime FBI / CIA asset Stephan Halper and his undercover FBI 'assistant' named "Azra Turk" befriended George Papadopoulos, it was nothing more than "typical law enforcement activities," according the New York Times.
Mr. Horowitz found no evidence that Mr. Halper tried to infiltrate the Trump campaign itself, the people familiar with the draft report said, such as by seeking inside campaign information or a role in the organization. The F.B.I. also never directed him to do so, former officials said. Instead, Mr. Halper focused on eliciting information from Mr. Page and Mr. Papadopoulos about their ties to Russia.
Mr. Trump and his allies have pointed to some of the investigative steps the F.B.I. took as evidence of spying, though they were typical law enforcement activities. -NYT

Jason Chaffetz: NYT Pre-Spinning of Inspector General Report ‘True to Script’ for Democrats

A New York Times report alleging that the FBI never attempted to place undercover agents within Trump’s campaign for president is one of the ways the media is attempting to pre-spin Department of Justice Inspector General Michael Horowitz’s report on the matter, Fox News contributor Jason Chaffetz said Thursday.

Chaffetz, in an appearance on Fox & Friends on Thursday, said the New York Times article was “true to script” for the Democrats.

“By its very definition, a FISA application is a warrant to spy on somebody,” Chaffetz said. “This person, Carter Page, happened to be on the Trump campaign. So, the mere fact that they’re trying to discredit that says a lot about the weakness of their case and their allegations.”

FORMER OBAMA OPERATIVES CREATING FAKE NEWS SITES TO HELP DEMOCRATS WIN ELECTION

Democratic operatives who previously worked for Barack Obama are creating fake news websites, and even newspapers, which are purposefully designed to look real in order to push liberal talking points and help the Democrats win the 2020 election.

The sites fall under the umbrella of a “media company” called Courier Newsroom, headed by strategists who have made it their mission to counter ‘right wing propaganda’ on social media and the internet

The outfit does not make readers aware of what it really is, instead it is posing as a legitimate news company employing real journalists, when it is anything but that.

Historian Wilfred McClay: Thanksgiving Established Fundamental American Values Centuries Before 1776

Fundamental American values manifested in the story of Thanksgiving centuries before the Declaration of Independence and Constitution, explained Wilfred McClay, author of Land of Hope: An Invitation to the Great American Story and professor of history at the University of Oklahoma, in a Tuesday interview on SiriusXM’s Breitbart News Tonight with hosts Rebecca Mansour and Joel Pollak.

Mansour invited McClay’s assessment of criticisms of the November holiday among left-wing teachers calling for students to “unlearn” a “feel-good” Thanksgiving “myth.”

McClay said of leftist contempt for Thanksgiving, “I think it’s a reflection of what — for some people — is the obsession with the politicization of all aspects of life, and everything has to be brought into conformity with some kind of ideological worldview.”

'Cruel and appalling' fake university ICE sting started under Obama

The “fake university” ICE sting at the center of many outraged tweets from Democrats was originally launched under President Barack Obama in 2015.

ICE announced on Wednesday that the agency had arrested 90 more illegal immigrants posing as students as part of a sting operation that offered noncitizens status as students at a phony university in a “pay to stay” scam. In total, the sting operation has resulted in visa fraud charges and deportations for around 250 illegal immigrants.

Many Democrats took to Twitter to condemn President Trump and ICE for using a fake university in their raid. New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez said the operation was grounds to “abolish ICE.” Sen. Elizabeth Warren called it “cruel and appalling.” Several people blasted Trump and his administration specifically for dreaming up the fake university operation.

French Farmers Descend On Paris In Fresh Revolt Against Globalist Regulations

Around a thousand French farmers in tractors have descended on Paris in a fresh revolt against globalist government policies they say are ruining their standard of living.

The farmers assembled on the Avenue Foch, near the Champs Elysees and the Arc de Triomphe to decry regulations which they assert are devastating the agricultural sector.

Their main concern centers around “agri-bashing” by the media and politicians, where farmers are being blamed for environmental issues and pressured to amend their behavior in the name of preventing climate change.

Arkansas woman impregnated by Hunter Biden was Washington DC stripper called Dallas

The Arkansas woman who was recently revealed by a court-ordered DNA test to given birth to a child father by Hunter Biden’s son was a stripper at a Washington, D.C., club.

Lunden Roberts, 28, worked as an exotic dancer at Mpire Club, near Dupont Circle, just blocks from the White House, where Biden, 49, was a regular, according to the New York Post. Biden, a former lobbyist who has struggled with drug and alcohol addiction, is the son of 2020 Democratic candidate Joe Biden, 77.

Around the time Roberts became pregnant with "Baby Doe" - the gender of the child was not revealed in court proceedings triggered by Hunter Biden's refusal to admit paternity - Hunter Biden was dating Halle Biden, 44, the widow of his brother Beau, who died of brain cancer in 2015 at age 46.

NJ To Become Wasteland: 44% Of Residents Plan To Flee State

Thanks to the highest property taxes in the nation and an unsustainable cost of living, 44% of New Jersey residents plan to leave the state in the 'no so distant future,' according to a recent survey from the Garden State Initiative (GSI) and Fairleigh Dickenson University School of Public & Global Affairs.

Committing to a more solid time frame, 28% say they are planning to leave within five years, and 39% say they will do so over the next decade, according to Insider NJ.
Unsurprisingly, Property Taxes and the overall Cost of Living were cited as the main drivers. The results also debunk two issues frequently cited in anecdotal accounts of outmigration, weather and public transportation, as they ranked 8th and 10th respectively, out of 11 factors offered.

The desire to leave the Garden State was reflected most strongly among young residents (18-29) with almost 40% anticipating leaving the state within the next five years. At the other end of the spectrum, a third (33%) of those nearing retirement (50-64) plan to leave within the next five years. -Insider NJ

Rand Paul: ‘Don’t Forget the First Thanksgiving Only Happened When the Pilgrims Rejected Socialism’

Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) wished his fellow Americans a Happy Thanksgiving on Thursday and added a brief history lesson to his holiday message, reminding all that the first Thanksgiving “only happened when the pilgrims rejected socialism.”

“Happy Thanksgiving! Take this day to be thankful for friends and family and don’t forget the first Thanksgiving only happened when the pilgrims rejected socialism,” Paul tweeted alongside an article titled, “Why the Pilgrims Abandoned Common Ownership for Private Property”:

The article Paul provides explains how the original communal living arrangements of the Plymouth Colony failed them. The colony’s first governor, William Bradford, extensively documented the phenomenon:

Alyssa Milano Rips ICE For Sting Operation Using Fake University. It Was Created Under The Obama Administration.

On Monday, alerted that U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) had arrested roughly 250 students since January on immigration violations as part of a sting operation involving a fake university, actress Alyssa Milano, a fervent opponent of ICE, tweeted, “OH MY GOD. ICE has arrested about 250 students who were enrolled at a fake university set up by ICE to lure in students.”

Someone might alert Milano —a strident voice consistently ripping the Trump administration for its immigration policy — of one little fact: the University of Farmington in Michigan was created during the Obama Administration in 2015. The sting operation was code-named “Paper-Chase.” The Detroit News reported in January 2019 that eight “recruiters” for the university who hailed from India were charged with visa fraud and harboring aliens for profit. Those eight recruiters allegedly made more than $250,000 from the university, in lieu of recruiting students.

'We are really grateful': Hong Kong protesters throw ‘Thanksgiving rally’ to celebrate US support

Pro-democracy protesters in Hong Kong gathered to celebrate the legislation signed by President Trump in support of their autonomy from China.

On Wednesday, Trump signed legislation that required the State Department to do an annual review of the relationship between Hong Kong and China to ensure that China does not overreach and hamper with Hong Kong’s autonomy. The legislation received support from every senator and all but one member of the House.

While signing the bill, Trump didn’t condemn China and claimed the legislation aimed to respect both President Xi Jinping and the people of Hong Kong, saying, “I signed these bills out of respect for President Xi, China, and the people of Hong Kong. They are being enacted in the hope that leaders and representatives of China and Hong Kong will be able to amicably settle their differences leading to long term peace and prosperity for all.”

Bloomberg's campaign chief: ‘Impeachment proceedings are making the president’s reelection more likely’

Kevin Sheekey, the campaign manager for Michael Bloomberg’s presidential bid, said that impeachment is making President Trump’s reelection “more likely.”

Sheekey explained that the impeachment talking points are not playing well in key swing states for the 2020 race during an interview on CNN International. He said he feared Trump will be impeached in the House only to be acquitted in the Senate, giving him increased momentum on Election Day.

“I worry a lot that we’re setting ourselves up here to impeachment, acquittal, and reelection,” Sheekey said. “We’re all outraged by what’s going on. Anyone who looks at those things should be outraged by what this president has done, except it’s not helping in the places where this election will ultimately be decided.”

KHAN: China, Fentanyl, And The New Opium War

For much of the 19th century, the British government bombarded China with illicit shipments of opium. In what became known as the Opium Wars, this passive sort of chemical warfare led to a generation of addicts and put an effective stranglehold on China’s economy at the time.

Now it seems China is resorting to similar tactics here in the U.S. with the synthetic drug Fentanyl — a drug 50 to 100 times stronger than heroin. In a piece entitled “China is Poisoning America with Fentanyl,” The Heritage Foundation reports that fentanyl is now the leading cause of overdose deaths here in the U.S. Overdoses claimed almost 100,000 lives in 2017 and 2018 and there seems to be no end in sight as the opioid epidemic expands beyond measure. For comparison, those numbers rival the peak of the AIDS crisis in 1995 according to the Rand Corporation.

Incredibly cheap to manufacture, the cost ratio of Fentanyl is staggering. An investment of a few thousand dollars can easily yield millions of dollars. It’s no wonder the Mexican Cartels have turned to Fentanyl according to The Washington Post.

The Council on Foreign Relations reports that most fentanyl coming to the United States is produced in China, and commonly transited through Mexico.

'He was really dumbfounded': 82-year-old bodybuilder describes fighting off home intruder, 29

An elderly, body-building woman recounted how she fought off an intruder last week during a home invasion in upstate New York.

"He was really dumbfounded," 82-year-old Willie Murphy said Tuesday on Fox & Friends.

Murphy said last week that a man rang her doorbell, hunched over, and told her he had been shot. He urged her to call 911, she said.

"He was all doubled up, and he was saying, 'Help me, help me, help me. I've been shot,'" Murphy explained.

When she ran to get her telephone, the man had broken the chain lock on her front door and entered the home. Murphy knew exactly what had happened and said she was not about to be taken advantage of. The man then lunged at her, she said.

Virginia community throws extravagant Christmas party for those in need

It's a Christmas that some 60 or so families in Lynchburg, Va. will never forget.

Leah Stauffer, assistant director of social media for GameOn--the sports network at Liberty University--won't either after she organized a massive Christmas party to offer free family photos to those in need.

It was an idea the photographer thought of in August while waiting at the airport, and wondering how she could help others.

"I started thinking about those families that don't have family photos," Stauffer, who has been a photographer since 2012, told Fox News. "What if we did that opportunity for families that typically can't afford family photos?"

The wedding photographer started reaching out to vendors and those she'd worked with before. Each one quickly agreed to join.

Her dream came true Sunday, with more than 40 volunteers working with over 60 families, for a 5-hour nonprofit event called "The Christmas Studio."

"You see so much brokenness and hurt in this world," she said, "but to see something where people put aside their differences to serve one another, it just gives you hope for humanity and what God's doing in this world and it's incredible!"

ICE arrests 90 illegal immigrants in a sting operation using a fake university

Using a fake university based in Michigan, ICE arrested 90 more illegal immigrant students, bringing the total sting operation arrests to about 250.

The Department of Homeland Security created a fake Michigan-based college called the University of Farmington that the department marketed to foreign-born students looking to work in technology. The fake university told the students they could be enrolled in their school to get into the United States on student visas and then never attend the school as part of a “pay to stay” scam.

Students who agreed were arrested on visa fraud and deported. Only 10% of the 250 students caught in the sting had to be deported by Customs and Border Protection. The remaining 80% self-deported after being caught. The remaining 10% have their status tied up as they contest their deportation to the Executive Office for Immigration Review, claiming the situation is entrapment.

OUTLETS BURY REPORT THAT MELANIA WON OVER THE BOOING CROWD AT OPIOID SUMMIT

First lady Melania Trump apparently won the crowd over after being booed at Tuesday’s youth opioid summit, but outlets appeared to bury the news.

Melania spoke at the B’More Youth Summit in Baltimore on Tuesday to help show children the dangers of opioid abuse. The speech was part of her “Be Best” campaign, and the first lady was booed as she began to speak on stage, according to reports and video footage. The Washington Post noted in its article that she appeared to win over the crowd in the end, but no other outlet highlighted this.

The New York Times, CNN and NBC News were among the outlets that reported on Melania being booed, each framing the story around this rather than her response or what the summit was about. ABC News even linked and quoted WaPo’s article, and noted that some booing died down, but avoided mentioning that the crowd appeared swayed by her speech in the end.

Cuccinelli fires back at O'Malley

Acting Deputy Homeland Security Secretary Ken Cuccinelli fired back at former Maryland Gov. Martin O’Malley on Thursday after the Democrat forced Cuccinelli to leave an event Thanksgiving eve, with Cuccinelli claiming O'Malley's "sad" and "shocking" outburst was so vitriolic his neck veins were "bulging."

“I arrived at The Dubliner to meet with some of my Gonzaga classmates last night, Cuccinelli said in the statement. “As I walked up to one of the bars among several in The Dubliner to order my Guinness, I heard screaming and cussing behind me to my left, which I did not immediately take notice of other than the fact that it was louder than everything else in the pub.”

Cuccinelli continued: “When I turned to look I saw O'Malley and he was obviously screaming at me. For a moment I thought he was trying to be funny, as we've met before, which I thought was strange. It was immediately clear that he was cursing and screaming for real, to the point of veins bulging on his neck.”

Cuccinelli added that O’Malley had “also inspired one or two of his (apparent) buddies to join in the cussing assault,” which the Trump official said he attempted to ignore. Cuccinelli said he proceeded to attempt to order at a different bar within The Dubliner, but that O’Malley followed him.

“[A]t which point O'Malley pushed his way through the small group to confront me face to face, still cursing me, the President, and my Italian ancestry and he got right up in my face, bumped up against me and invited me to take a swing at him,” Cuccinelli recalled, adding, “at which point I said ‘Martin, one of us has to rise above this, and it's obviously not going to be you.’”

Inside the frantic response to mysterious ‘slow-moving blob’ flying over Washington

The mysterious “slow-moving blob” detected in the skies over Washington Tuesday prompted a frantic response from security officials on the ground as they raced against the clock to assess the potential threat.

From the moment the object was picked up on radar, US officials across several agencies only had about 10 minutes to determine whether American lives were in danger and respond accordingly.

Senior national security officials across the agencies immediately convened to coordinate and monitor the situation, ordering a lockdown at the White House and the Capitol Building to be placed on “restricted access” as a precaution.

Trump supporters create social media platform tailored for them

A new social media platform for supporters of President Trump has emerged as his backers continue to migrate away from traditional forums such as Reddit.

The new website, thedonald.win, was created by users of the r/The_Donald subreddit after Reddit became more controlling about what content could be posted in the forum. In June, the company announced that the subreddit would be “quarantined.”

The quarantine, which is still in effect, doesn’t ban the forum but removes certain features and restricts how its content is shared. It also includes a warning about viewing the subreddit.

The new website is structured similarly to r/The_Donald. It includes features that allow users to upvote and downvote posts and comments as well as filter content by "hot," "new," "rising," and "top."

GOP candidate calls for opponent Ilhan Omar to face hanging for treason

One of the Republican candidates looking to challenge Democratic Rep. Ilhan Omar come 2020 will have to campaign without the help of Twitter.

Danielle Stella has been permanently suspended from the social media platform after tweeting about Omar being hanged on at least two occasions.

Both of the controversial tweets in question, which are no longer available, referenced recent allegations that Omar has given sensitive information to the Iranian government. The freshman congresswoman has rejected the allegations, calling them Saudi Arabian propaganda and labeling them “outlandishly absurd.”
“If it is proven @IlhanMN passed sensitive info to Iran, she should be tried for #treason and hanged,” Ms. Stella’s campaign account said in the first tweet, according to the Washington Times. The second tweet included a link to an article that aggregated her first remark. It also included a stick figure hanging from gallows.

These 2 Cases Show Why Trans ‘Rights’ Could Upend the Rights of All

The battle over the rights of “transgender” and “cisgender” people continues to escalate in one of the most influential arenas: our nation’s schools.

The Chicago Tribune reported this month that after a four-year battle, a school board in Palatine, Illinois, has granted transgender students “unrestricted access to locker rooms based on gender identity.”

Just a few days later, CBS News Minnesota reported a mother had sued her local school district, claiming that it discriminated against her child for being transgender.

These are just two of the most recent stories showing just how prevalent the transgender debate in schools has become.

'It’s almost been weaponized': South Carolina lawmaker proposes bill to ban gender reassignment for minors

A South Carolina state lawmaker proposed a bill that would make it illegal for children to undergo gender reassignment surgery until they become adults.

Republican state Rep. Stewart Jones cited the case of James Younger as his motivation for pursuing the legislation. Younger, a 7-year-old boy from Texas, told his mother that he wanted to transition to a girl. The mother encouraged the decision and demanded that Younger’s father refer to the child as “Luna.”

Younger’s father was denied custody of his son when he tried to block James from transitioning. The judge has since reversed and given the father, Jeffrey Younger, joint managing conservatorship, meaning he must agree to any medical treatments his son receives.
