The Death Throes Of A Party: Is Pelosi Planning To Shaft Schiff?

Is it possible that Rep. Adam Schiff was hung out to dry by the devious Ms. Pelosi, feeding his vanity to be a one-man impeachment wrecking crew, knowing that the congressman from Hollywood would utterly blow it? Hmmmmm. Begins to look that way as Mr. Schiff’s House Intel Committee goes public this Wednesday with its soviet-style format on full display.

Well, first, why? Why allow this nitwit to stage an ersatz impeachment only to see it fail? Perhaps to cancel the Jacobin menace metastasizing in the Democratic Party and get on with the business of winning the 2020 elections — with old-school candidates hand-picked to end-run the gang of fantasists currently on display.

The House Speaker must sniff the odor of failure in the wind.

Joe Biden, smiling cretinously, blunders through the primary venues with a big red “L” plastered on his forehead, often uncertain of what state he’s landed in, or what direction to face the camera. Everybody over twelve in this land knows that his kid Hunter was on the grift in Ukraine, plain and simple, and that Joe assisted in the operation. Color him toast.

MSNBC's Joy Reid dismisses Thanksgiving as 'problematic' 'food holiday,' mocks Trump supporters

MSNBC's liberal weekend host Joy Reid diminished Thanksgiving as a "food holiday" with a "problematic" history and also mocked Trump supporters whom her viewers may encounter at the dinner table in the coming weeks.

"We are just over two weeks away from one of the most beloved American food holidays. Thanksgiving, where problematic actual history meets delicious cuisine," Reid started the segment on Saturday morning, "and many will be heading home to spend time with family and friends, eat a little too much and perhaps engage in a dreaded, contentious political debate with your cranky Uncle Roscoe when he starts yelling, 'read the transcript!' at the dinner table between bites of turkey and pumpkin pie."

The "AM Joy" host explained to her audience that she would tell them "everything you need to understand about impeachment" so her viewers could "easily explain" the ongoing political firestorm to "Uncle Roscoe and Auntie Carol."

THE GLOBALISTS HAVE DECLARED WAR ON YOUR SAVINGS

When any one of the plethora of bubbles burst – pick your poison – and the next financial crisis impacts Wall Street and Main Street, how will the central banks and federal governments react? They have fired all their unconventional rounds of bullets, from subzero interest rates to vast money-printing. One other proposal could conceivably be giving your deposits a haircut, much like what occurred in Cyprus following the recession. This dyspeptic vision is not hyperbole nor is it paranoia – the tariffs have raised the price of tinfoil! It is unfolding right now as our globalist overlords are executing, or at least entertaining, fiscal and monetary measures to confiscate your wealth – directly or indirectly.
PLUGGING HOLES IN SWISS CHEESE

Switzerland is one of the few European nations to record a federal budget surplus. The budget for the fiscal year 2020 will record a $615 million surplus, despite imposing pension and tax reforms that slashed revenues and raised spending. The Swiss government is handcuffed by a so-called debt brake, a balanced-budget amendment that mandates the budget to be in balance throughout the business cycle. This policy has decreased the debt-to-gross domestic product ratio to nearly 25%.

Although national debt levels are still at multi-decade highs, the fact that the government is taking red ink seriously should be music to the ears of fiscal conservatives. But to others, it is headache-inducing.

ICE officers in Va. capture unlawfully present Guatemalan man released by Montgomery County, Md.

WASHINGTON – Today, officers from the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) Washington field office arrested Luis Fredy Hernandez Morales, 48, at his residence in Springfield, Va. Hernandez was charged on Nov. 5 by the Montgomery County District Court with sexual abuse of a minor.
Hernandez was released by Montgomery County Detention Center (MCDC) despite a detainer lodged by immigration officials on Nov. 5. The detainer was not honored, and Hernandez was released on bond on Nov. 6.
“We are committed to protecting our communities from the depraved acts of offenders with or without the support of local law enforcement agencies, but this case shows how the noncooperation policies of one jurisdiction can have serious public safety impacts on its neighbors” said Washington Field Office Director Russell Hott.
This arrest is the latest in a continuing list of public safety threats Montgomery County, MD has released into the community rather than allow a lawful transfer into ICE custody.
Under the Immigration and Nationality Act as passed by Congress, ICE detainers, removal orders issued by federal immigration judges, and ICE immigration enforcement in general, is conducted under civil law. The “judicial warrant” demanded by advocacy groups applies to criminal cases and does not exist for civil law matters.
However, for every detainer ICE issues the agency also provides an accompanying administrative warrant, or a warrant of removal along with the detainer, which is the warrant that does exist for matters governed under civil law.

Virginia doctor allegedly tied women's tubes, performed other surgeries without consent

A Virginia doctor was arrested Friday for allegedly performing unnecessary surgical procedures on women without their knowledge or consent.

Federal prosecutors say the unneeded operations included at least one instance of tying a woman's fallopian tubes, an operation that denied her the possibility of conceiving a child naturally.

Javaid Perwaiz, a 69-year-old doctor from Chesapeake, was arrested Friday and charged with one count each of health care fraud and making false statements relating to health care matters. He was ordered held without bond until a detention hearing on Thursday.

Watch this chatty dog use a custom soundboard to talk

This canine is doggone smart.

Eighteen-month-old Stella already knows 29 words — and she is even stringing them into sentences.

Speech-language pathologist Christina Hunger decided to combine her love for her Catahoula and Blue Heeler mix and her passion for augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices by finding a way to give her dog a voice, People first reported.

To do this, the 26-year-old San Diegan set up a button board when Stella was 8 weeks old for the pooch to interact with and express herself. When pressed, the buttons play recordings of words like “beach,” “ball” and “happy.”

Judge says woman arrested in CIA trespass looking for ‘Agent Penis’ later visited Obama home

The woman who allegedly trespassed three days in a row at the CIA headquarters and requested “to speak with Agent Penis” recently showed up at the home of former President Barack Obama, according to a federal judge in Alexandria, Virginia.

During a status hearing, U.S. District Court Judge John Anderson said he had been informed that Jennifer G. Hernandez, 58, of North Carolina — who is charged with trespassing at an agency installation without authorization for repeatedly visiting the CIA in May — later showed up at Obama’s D.C.-area home, despite the court’s order to stay away from all government-related facilities. She had been released before the trial.

Hernandez’s federal public defender, Whitney Minter, said she, prosecutors and probation officials are trying to find a way to resolve the case without trial, but said she was considering a plea of not guilty by reason of insanity.

Mark Cuban: Millionaire Elizabeth Warren Touting Wealth Tax to ‘Divert Attention from Her Income and Net Worth’

Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban believes Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) is being disingenuous, suggesting she is likely promoting her sweeping wealth tax proposals to divert attention from her own net worth, which is well into the millions.

Warren has made millionaires and billionaires a central target of her campaign, proposing an “Ultra-Millionaire Tax,” which levies a two percent tax on individuals with $50 million in assets or more. The percentage increases to three percent for those with $1 billion or more. Warren also says she will pay for her $52 trillion Medicare for All plan, in part, by “asking billionaires to pitch in six cents on each dollar of net worth above $1 billion.”

She recently unveiled her sarcastic “calculator for the billionaires,” which she used to hit Michael Bloomberg directly:

Are You Ready For A Catastrophically Cold Winter? Here's What The Mainstream Media Won't Tell You...

Experts are warning us that this will be a “freezing, frigid, and frosty” winter, and even though the official beginning of winter is still over a month away, it already feels like that in much of the country right now.

Over the next several days, it will literally feel like it is mid-January in much of the central and eastern portions of the United States. Many areas will be hit by temperatures that are 30 degrees below normal, and heavy snow is expected in some areas of the Midwest. Unfortunately, this bitterly cold weather is coming at a very bad time for corn farmers. According to the latest USDA crop progress report, only 52 percent of the corn in the middle of the country has been harvested. So about half of the corn is still sitting out there, and these extraordinarily low temperatures could potentially be absolutely devastating. In essence, this cold front threatens to put an exclamation point on an absolutely horrific year for U.S. farmers. According to the National Weather Service, we could possibly see “170 potential daily record cold high temperatures” over the next three days…
“The National Weather Service is forecasting 170 potential daily record cold high temperatures Monday to Wednesday,” tweeted Weather Channel meteorologist Jonathan Erdman. “A little taste of January in November.”
The temperature nosedive will be a three-day process as a cold front charges across the central and eastern U.S. from Sunday into Tuesday.

A Message From County Executive Bob Culver

This amount of snow really caught us by surprise but I wanted to let every one know that we have three salt trucks out checking bridges and shaded areas. Please be aware and careful should you approach a truck. They will be out until at least 5:30 PM and maybe longer depending of what the weather is at that time. If you encounter any bad spots, please give us a call. Thank you.

Italian town is offering free houses for anyone who’ll move there

If you’re sick of paying too much in rent for a tiny New York City apartment, you move into a stone building in Sicily for free.

The mayor of the town of Cammarata, Vincenzo Giambrone, is trying to save his town from population decline. He plans to do so by having local families who have abandoned their homes hand over their properties to new owners — with no money exchanged. Some 12 houses are now available.

But CNN reports that the free homes, which are both empty and crumbling, come with some strings attached.

The new owners must fix up the structures on their own dime within three years, as well as put down a $4,300 deposit that will be returned once the work is completed. The owners must also present their renovation plans to the town for approval

Russia Probe Was Watergate-Like Breach of Trump Campaign, Investigative Journalist Says

Investigative journalist Lee Smith says the story of the origins of the FBI investigation into Trump campaign aides can be likened to the Watergate scandal, in the sense that it was a break-in—an electronic one—to rummage through the campaign’s communications.

“If you think about it in terms of Watergate, it’s easy to understand,” he told Epoch Times senior editor Jan Jekielek on the Nov. 4 episode of “American Thought Leaders.”

“It was an electronic break-in. The Clinton campaign wanted to find an October surprise to dump on Donald Trump.”

Smith, a senior fellow at the conservative Hudson Institute, recently released a book, “The Plot Against the President,” in which he lays out an argument that the presidential campaign of former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton had the FBI probe the campaign of her opponent, Donald Trump, for damaging information.

Transcript Reveals Ambassador Gordon Sondland Never Knew of Any ‘Quid Pro Quo’

Ambassador Gordon Sondland never had any firsthand knowledge of any “quid pro quo” involving U.S. military aid for Ukraine in exchange for Ukraine conducting investigations, according to his recently released closed-door testimony as part of the impeachment inquiry.

When he was asked by the Republican counsel, “To the best of your knowledge, do you know about any preconditions on the aid?” he responded, “No.”

“There were a lot of rumors swirling around as to why the aid had been held up, including they wanted a review, they wanted Europe to do more. There were all kinds of rumors,” he added.

He said he called the president on September 9, 2019, to find out what he wanted from Ukraine.

“He said: ‘I want nothing. I want no quid pro quo. I want Zelensky to do the right thing.’ And I said: ‘What does that mean?’ And he said: ‘I want him to do what he ran on.’ And that was the end of the conversation.”

Two days later, on September 11, 2019, the aid — which had been temporarily frozen — was released to Ukraine, without the Ukrainians having to do anything.

Sondland also testified: “I recall hearing multiple reasons why the aid was being held from various people. I never heard that it was being held specifically to investigate the Bidens. I never heard the word ‘Biden’ mentioned with aid.”

He also acknowledged that the aid was released, and Trump had a phone call and a face-to-face meeting with Zelensky at the United Nations General Assembly in September 2019 — without anything in exchange from Ukraine.

Mike Rowe's Veteran's Day reminder: No 'safe space' in military

Mike Rowe, of “Dirty Jobs” television fame, sat down with “Fox & Friends” hosts on Monday, Veteran’s Day, and told the watching, listening audience to take a memo — as much as the left likes to promote tolerance and diversity and snowflake madness for all, there is really no “safe space” in the military.

Don’t cry, millennials.

Mama’s got a hot buttered biscuit waiting for you in the basement.

“Is there a greater meritocracy in the world? Is there a better example of true diversity? The thing that I’m most proud about when I go to bases, when I visit with people, they are utterly color-blind,” Rowe said, Fox News reported. “There’s no conversation about ‘trigger words.’ There’s no safe space. The military is not a safe space.”

Google Gathers Personal Health Data on Millions of Americans

Search giant is amassing health records from Ascension facilities in 21 states; patients not yet informed

Google is engaged with one of the country’s largest health-care systems to collect and crunch the detailed personal health information of millions of Americans across 21 states.

The initiative, code-named “Project Nightingale,” appears to be the biggest in a series of efforts by Silicon Valley giants to gain access to personal health data and establish a toehold in the massive health-care industry. Amazon.com Inc., Apple Inc. and Microsoft Corp. are also aggressively pushing into health care, though they haven’t yet struck deals of this scope.

Google began Project Nightingale in secret last year with St. Louis-based Ascension, the second-largest health system in the U.S., with the data sharing accelerating since summer, according to internal documents.

The data involved in the initiative encompasses lab results, doctor diagnoses and hospitalization records, among other categories, and amounts to a complete health history, including patient names and dates of birth.

Neither patients nor doctors have been notified.

NYT: Biden Aides Silent on Hunter, Fearing 'Scolding' in '14

Vice President Joe Biden's aides were worried about "the optics" of his son, Hunter, working for a Ukrainian energy company in 2014, but they refused to raise the issue so as to not risk "a scolding" from the elder Biden, according to a report by The New York Times.

The aides "enlisted State Department officials to gather facts to determine how to handle the story" of Hunter Biden's work on the board of Burisma Holdings, to which he was appointed that year, the Times reported Sunday.

"Hunter Biden's activities struck many of the officials working on Ukraine policy as an unnecessary distraction, or worse," according to the Times.

But "few, if any, had raised the issue with Mr. Biden directly when it first arose."

That was because Biden had "reacted angrily" when aides to Democrat presidential candidate Sen. Barack Obama "raised the issue of his son's lobbying during the 2008 campaign."

Tulsi’s Legal Team Seeks Retraction of Clinton's ‘Defamatory’ Comments

2020 White House contender Rep. Tulsi Gabbard’s (D-HI) legal team is demanding failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton to retract her remarks in which alleged the military combat veteran of being Russia’s preferred candidate, reports The Hill.

“Your statement is defamatory, and we demand that you retract it immediately,” an attorney for Gabbard wrote to Clinton, requesting the former secretary of state “immediately” retract her statements and share a formal retraction on social media.

Last month, Clinton made comments about a 2020 candidate who is “the favorite of the Russians,” who was being “groomed” by the Kremlin as a potential third-party candidate — widely understood to be a veiled shot at Gabbard.

Appearing on a podcast hosted by David Plouffe, President Barack Obama’s 2008 presidential campaign manager, the Obama cabinet member claimed:

[Russia] has a bunch of sites and bots and other ways of supporting [Gabbard] so far. That’s assuming Jill Stein will give it up, which she might not because she is also a Russian asset.

They know they can’t win without a third-party candidate, and so I do not know who it’s going to be, but I can guarantee you they will have a vigorous third-party challenge in the key states that they most need it.

'Solutions Are Obvious' - The US Higher Education System Is Broken

The US higher education system is broken. In many cases, it produces individuals with useless degrees purchased at outrageous cost. The system itself is an infestation of ultra liberal professors, spineless administrators and a student body that becomes more and more radicalized and detached from reality the more courses they take.

The higher education system is the incubator for the anti white, anti male, anti Trump, pro freak, pro censorship, anti gun, pro socialist, anti conservative, pro unlimited immigration, pro free everything mentality that pervades what purports to be the evening news. It infantilizes young adults to produce a steady stream of victims and mental midgets completely unprepared to meet the real adult world. In short, it produces the Democrat voter.

All is not lost, however. By and large, STEM graduates are less affected by the SJW mental aberration as their critical thinking abilities are necessarily on a higher plane to be able to cope with a curriculum that is more than just opinion. STEM fields have empirically based phenomena to comprehend and must use known tested methods of reasoning and logic to handle the problems and situations a particular field is called upon to investigate. Although STEM students are typically forced to sit through nonsense classes and regurgitate what the instructors deem critical information, they instinctively know its BS and promptly forget it once the class is over. They’re typically not permanently scared.

‘Hope and Belonging’: Meet 5 Young Black Leaders Who Fight for Conservative Values

If you’re black, you aren’t supposed to be a conservative.

At least that’s what many African Americans say they’ve been told when they express support for President Donald Trump or reject left-wing talking points.

But at the recent Young Black Leadership Summit in the East Room of the White House, President Donald Trump gave more than 400 attendees a space to connect with like-minded peers and exchange battle stories about their experiences.

“Each of you has come to Washington for the Black Leadership Summit because you have what it takes to achieve real change on your campuses and in your communities,” Trump said in opening remarks at the Oct. 4 summit

“And to every young person: You represent America’s future. You are the best and the brightest, the bravest and boldest.”

Organized by Turning Point USA, the second annual Young Black Leadership Summit aimed to build a groundswell of support for conservative ideas within black communities across America.

Hosting attendees from 16 to 37 years old, Turning Point USA sponsored several young leaders, paying for their transportation, lodging, and meals so that they would be able to attend.

The Daily Signal spoke with five young people who attended the summit about what it means to be black and a conservative and going against the current in a world obsessed with conformity.

University of Virginia ending 21-gun salute over potential 'panic' by students

The University of Virginia announced it would be eliminating the 21-gun salute from its Veterans Day ceremony because they did not want to cause any trauma to students who might hear the gunshots.

"One is that it would be disruptive to classes and two unfortunately with gun violence in the U.S., there was some concern that we would cause a panic if someone heard gunshots on grounds," Jim Ryan, the college's president, told NBC29.

The decision was made by the provost's office along with UVA's ROTC program. The Veterans Day program at UVA has included a 21-gun salute for over a decade.

WSJ: Veterans Feel Betrayed by Colleges that Undermine American Values

A column published in the Wall Street Journal on Sunday makes the case that colleges and universities undermine the values that American veterans risked their lives to defend.

U.S. Air Force Veteran Rob Henderson penned a column for the Wall Street Journal this week in which he made the case that veterans feel betrayed by colleges and universities that seek to undermine American values.

Henderson expressed concern that campus activists actively seek to destroy the American values that veterans have risked their lives to defend. Henderson noted that college students often boast about their opposition to basic American values, like the First and Second Amendments. Henderson describes a discussion he had with a fellow veteran about campus culture.

He said he was mystified, observing that the predominantly working- and middle-class people in the military swear an oath to defend with their lives the U.S. Constitution, including the First and Second amendments. Meanwhile, affluent college students regularly trash the First and seek to dismantle the Second. Are veterans being duped, he questioned, into believing they are upholding American values while the richest kids in the world—the ones being groomed for success and power—try to undermine them?
