I can tell you first hand, Jake Day will have a fierce opponent in the upcoming mayoral election.
This gentleman is a conservative republican, smart, intense and will not stand for the games currently being played.
In due time we will make the announcement and SBYNews will endorse this individual.
Put your seat belts on Liberals, it's time for new leadership.

A Viewer Writes.....
Joe,
Just before 4am this morning while I was coming home from a 12 hour security duty shift in Ocean City, a 17 year old Spanish girl hit the guard rail on 50 West bound, flipped her vehicle on its side...and tore the guard rail off... that laid covering most of 50.
She climbed out waived myself and a black motorcycle driver down for assistance.
We checked her for injuries, and asked if anyone else was in vehicle....calling 911...
I was surprised and impressed at all the support we received from other motorist who also stopped to help, and were of different races.
I saw the American Spirit at work this morning, for these various races joined together to help this young lady injured who was crying and scared.
Bystanders used their phones to contact the girls family ( in conversations with her). while we checked for others in the destroyed vehicle.
When State Police, EMS arrived, we provided them with as much details we knew about the incident.
The American Spirit still lives among blacks. whites and the Spanish folks on the scene.
Don't let the alphabet media deceive you regarding President Trump and the American Spirit.
May readers offer support and prayers to this young lady and her family....and thank God for all those involved in this incident this morning.

Trump could be the most honest president in modern history
Donald Trump may be remembered as the most honest president in modern American history. Don’t get me wrong, Trump lies all the time. He said that he “enacted the biggest tax cuts and reforms in American history” (actually they are the eighth-largest) and that “our economy is the strongest it’s ever been in the history of our country” (which may one day be true, but not yet). In part, it’s a New York thing — everything is the biggest and the best.
But when it comes to the real barometer of presidential truthfulness — keeping his promises — Trump is a paragon of honesty. For better or worse, since taking office, Trump has done exactly what he promised he would do.
Trump kept his promise to move the U.S. Embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, something his three immediate predecessors also promised yet failed to do. He promised to “crush and destroy ISIS,” and two years later he is on the verge of eliminating Islamic State’s physical caliphate. He promised to impose a travel ban on countries that he saw as posing a terrorist threat, and after several false starts the final version of his ban was upheld by the Supreme Court.

Is Smith Island Sinking? Army Corp. Of Engineers’ Multi-Million Dollar Project Hopes To Stop Erosion
SMITH ISLAND, MD. (WJZ) — Maryland has only one inhabited island with no bridge connecting it to the mainland — Smith Island.
People have been living on this tiny spit of land for almost 350 years, against all odds; fighting wind, tides, and erosion.
Now, the Army Corps of Engineers, the state and Somerset County are celebrating a multi-million dollar project aimed at “Saving Smith Island.”
Water is at the center of life on this island. Three tiny villages make up one small community living off the bounty of the water that surrounds them.
“It’s hard to beat…the people, the place, the uniqueness, it’s not for everybody, we know that,” said Eddie Somers, Smith Island United.
Few Marylanders ever do make the journey, over the Bay Bridge, all the way south to Crisfield, taking an hour’s ferry ride out into the Chesapeake — the only way to reach Smith Island.

Close to 200 tons of gunk pulled from OC storm drains
In 25 days of work, Ocean City Public Works crews cleaned out more than 24,000 linear feet of storm drain piping and removed what amounted to about 196.5 tons of sand and sediment.
Public Works Director Hal Adkins and Deputy Director Woody Vickers provided a summary of the work at the City Council work session Tuesday.
According to Adkins, the cleanup, which also involved 144 catch basins and 31 manholes, removed 131 cubic yards of material. That would fill up about eight large dump trucks, Vickers said.
Several phases of work focused on the areas of Sinepuxent Avenue from 146th to 130th Street, Jamaica Avenue from 127th to 123rd Street, and Philadelphia Avenue from 14th to 9th Street.

Wealthy Elitists Freak Out As Hordes Of Homeless People Take Over Their Neighborhoods All Over The West Coast
The elite are very “tolerant” of the homeless until they start showing up in their own neighborhoods.
Even though the mainstream media keeps telling us that the U.S. economy is “booming”, the number of Americans living on the streets continues to grow very rapidly, and this is particularly true in our major west coast cities. More than half a million Americans will sleep on the streets of our cities tonight, and they need help, care and shelter. Sadly, as economic conditions deteriorate that number is likely to double or even triple. Of course many among the elite are all in favor of doing something for the homeless, as long as they don’t have to be anywhere around them.
For example, let’s talk about what is going on in Los Angeles. No city on the west coast has a bigger problem with homelessness than L.A. does, and many in the homeless population enjoy camping out on the beautiful beaches in the L.A. area at night.
But of course many of the elite that paid millions of dollars for beachfront property are not too thrilled about this. Sex Pistols frontman Johnny Rotten was a key symbol of anti-establishment rebellion in the 1970s, but now he is freaking out because homeless people are making life very difficult for him and his wife in Venice Beach, and what he recently told Newsweek’s Paula Froelich is making headlines all over the nation…
He told her the homeless situation in his swanky LA neighborhood is so bad that thieves are tearing the bars from the windows of his multimillion-dollar home, lobbing bricks, setting up unsightly tent cities and littering the beach with syringes.

Berlin Council Cuts Proposed Tax Hike To 19% With Another Smaller Increase Coming Next Year
BERLIN – Elected officials agreed to cut a proposed property tax increase to 18% following weeks of public outcry.
In a budget work session Monday, members of the Berlin Town Council agreed conceptually to an 18% increase — which would make the rate 80 cents per $100 of assessed land value — in the next fiscal year starting July 1 to be followed by a to-be-determined increase for next fiscal year. They council also agreed to raise water rates 5% and sewer rates 25% to ensure the enterprise funds don’t need to borrow from the general fund.
“Let it be known the Town of Berlin is not considering a 30% tax increase for the coming year,” Councilman Dean Burrell said.
At a well-attended special work session Monday, officials quickly agreed to rate increases of 5% and 25% for water and sewer. Though they initially discussed a sewer increase spread over five years, staff said Monday the immediate increase would eliminate any shortfalls in the fund and would provide the town with time to study rates further going forward.

Facebook Bars Alex Jones, Louis Farrakhan and Others From Its Services
SAN FRANCISCO — After years of wavering about how to handle the extreme voices populating its platform, Facebook on Thursday evicted seven of its most controversial users — many of whom are conservatives — immediately inflaming the debate about the power and accountability of large technology companies.
The social network said it had barred Alex Jones, the conspiracy theorist and founder of Infowars, from its platform, along with a handful of other extremists. Louis Farrakhan, the outspoken black nationalist minister who has frequently been criticized for his anti-Semitic remarks, was also banned. The Silicon Valley company said these users were disallowed from using Facebook and Instagram under its policies against “dangerous individuals and organizations.”
“We’ve always banned individuals or organizations that promote or engage in violence and hate, regardless of ideology,” a Facebook spokeswoman said in a statement. “The process for evaluating potential violators is extensive and it is what led us to our decision to remove these accounts today.”

BREAKING NEWS: Attorney General Bill Barr REFUSES to testify to Democratic-controlled House Judiciary Committee on Thursday
Attorney General William Barr will refuse to attend the House Judiciary Committee Thursday to be questioned on the Mueller report in a dramatic escalation of tensions between the Trump administration and Democrats.
Barr was expected to write a letter Wednesday evening telling committee chairman Jerrold Nadler that he will not attend, objecting to being told that he will be questioned by the committee's Democratic majority's attorneys.
The attorney general will only agree to be questioned by lawmakers, he had already indicated.
Barr now faces a subpoena from Nadler, who has warned he will not hesitate to use the power to compel an appearance by Trump's top legal adviser.
