    Anybody who would rob and pistol whip an elderly woman should be locked up for a long time. Can you imagine how frightened she must have been?! Not knowing whether he was going to kill her or God knows what else. Put him somewhere where the sun don't shine.

    This is why I've always encouraged homeowners to use a shotgun for home defense

    splat bad guys guts all over the wall and carpets

    the posting said the gun came from her residence.

    And I was on jury duty that day, and the defendant looked every bit as rough as he did in this mugshot.
