Press Release - WCSO CAT Traffic Stop - Heroin Seizure - Dec. 12, 2019

Incident: Possession with intent to distribute narcotics (Heroin)
Date of Incident: December 12, 2019
Location: E East Street/ Pennsylvania Avenue, Delmar, MD 21875


Suspects:

  • Jarell Tremaine Rodriguez (28 years of age)
  • Dajana Oshay Lynn Rodriguez (28 years of age)
Narrative: The Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office Community Action Team (CAT) conducted a drug investigation that led to a traffic stop of a Volkswagen Tiguon that was driven by Jarell Rodriguez near the intersection of E East Street and Pennsylvania Avenue Delmar, MD. The front seat passenger was identified as Dajana Rodriguez. A K-9 scan was conducted of the vehicle that resulted in a positive alert. A search of the vehicle revealed 1,473 bags of heroin (approximately 11 logs or 4.5 sticks of heroin). Both subjects were placed under arrest and transported to the Wicomico County Detention Center.

The Delmar Police Department assisted with the investigation and executed a follow-up search and seizure warrant in the 1100 block of Magnolia Drive Seaford, DE that resulted in the discovery of a significant amount of CDS. An additional 13.5 “sticks” of heroin or 33.75 logs of heroin was located; coming to a total of 4,225 bags of heroin being seized from the residence along with an amount of cocaine and other items indicative of distribution.


A grand total of 5,874 bags of heroin were seized in total during the CAT-initiated multi-jurisdictional operation. Charges are pending in Delaware for both subjects.

      and you be lucky to get them all back after the Kangaroo Court in Wicomico county, after findings of no Merit in the case


      Lewis, Richardson, and Jake Day need to have their property searched.

      I can bet you , they will have a number of guns belonging to and registered to others in this County

  2. Holy crap that is a lot of heroin! Great job to all of the police agencies involved. That is not the typical amount seen in a lower shore distribution bust. This is a HUGE bust

    That was the police acting on an informant's tip, like most of these things are....

    They just can't say that because someone will get their throat cut.
