Brinkley said on CNN on Friday that once Trump is impeached, public support for him will disappear. Aside from a complete misreading of the mood of at least half the electorate, Brinkley shows he's better at interpreting history than at predicting political outcomes.
The Hill:
“It just tells you what deep trouble Donald Trump is in. I mean, when you have 50 percent of the country wanting you not just impeached but removed from office, and the game hasn’t even gotten fast yet,” Brinkley said Friday morning on CNN, where he serves as a contributor.More
“I think once the vote is taken by Congress to impeach him and he’s wearing the ‘I’ on his chest, you’re going to see that movement grow even more,” Brinkley predicted.
He added of Trump, “It tells you he doesn’t have a lot of friends. He’s a base politician. He doesn’t know how to turn this around."
He's CNN's "presidential historian." That fact says it all. It's more fruit from the poisoned tree.
ReplyDeleteA historian records the past, but no one can predict the future, especially will Trump involved.
DeleteMy money is on the Trumpster
ReplyDeleteJust face it guys. Trump has a strong base of support from folks that will see him through whatever waves come his way. Good for him.
ReplyDeleteThese are people who have an obvious aversion to facts and truth, have no clue about how anything outside of their small little world works, and are perfectly willing to play the role of liar and hypocrite to see thieir guy win. Bad for the country.
Keep trying to convince yourself that Trump will fail, if it makes you feel better, but ya'll be crying on election day 2020.
ReplyDeleteAgain lol
DeleteOK ---CNN OK -we believe you NOT! TRUMP 2020!!!!
ReplyDeleteSore losers are just that...sore losers. You can't impeach someone just to try and overturn a legal election. America, even the ones that lost, know that. If the Dems can do it, watch out! The republicans will do it. Remember the Senate "nuclear option" enacted by the then Democrat senate? That sure backfired on them when the Republicans used the nuclear option that the Democrats enacted. And now SCOTUS is leaning more conservative as a result. You have to wonder how stupid (and desperate) the Democrats leaders are. The more they desperately cling to power, the more they lose.
ReplyDelete"Presidential Historian" employed by CNN? Another Crooked "Expert" from Liberal Socialist Club at Communist News Network?
ReplyDeleteThis Brinkley Clown got it wrong again. Within next 10-15 years from now the Support for Donald Trump will be transferred to his sons Don Jr. and Eric and daughter Ivanka. It is already happening.
