Hollywood legend and staunch 'Never Trumper' Robert De Niro offered yet another a pejorative take on the 45th President of the United States during an appearance on The View on Monday - but the 76-year-old arguably reserved his fiercest criticisms for Trump’s adult children.
De Niro’s appearance on the ABC show came primarily to promote his latest cinematic outing with Martin Scorsese, but before the panel could even mention The Irishman, the two-time Oscar winner was already waxing lyrical about his disdain for the Commander in Chief.
During the scathing monologue, De Niro voiced belief that the Trump family has behaved far worse than any of the mob families depicted in some of his most famous films, warning that if his children behaved the way Don Jr., Eric, and Ivanka have, he’d have ‘disowned them’ by now.

ReplyDeleteCome on now, De Niro is a pretty good character actor. However, his criticism fror the Trump family is obviously sour grapes. They are attractive and successful and De Niro hates Trump plain and simple so it is not surprising he would lash out at the vulnerable.
