President Donald Trump signed a massive $738 billion Defense bill Friday – which will officially establish the Space Force.
'With my signature today you will witness the birth of the Space Force,' he said. 'And that will be now officially the sixth branch of the United States armed forces.'
He signed the legislation at Joint Base Andrews - which he dubbed 'America's Airfield' as it houses Air Force One - before he departed to Mar-a-Lago for the Christmas holiday.

Space Force will take over the atmospheric manipulations necessary to keep America cool during the warming period. We have the lowest temps (departure from norm) in the world!
ReplyDeleteWay to go Mr Trump!
I was thinking the same thing. This must be a transfer of duties from Air Force to NASA through the creation of a brand new agency.
ReplyDeleteThey have done some amazing things so far out of the public eye. They saved Florida big time this year from the hurricane that destroyed Bahamas.
Good move for sure.
It is space exploration silly rabbits.

There is no space exploration. It's just another theft of tax money. Within 50 years of the invention of flight you have a worldwide industry. After 50 years since the moon landing, you have nothing but CGI pictures.
