Tomorrow afternoon we will start serving pulled pork, brisket and smoked ham with our Pit Master Ray Layfield. This is a one of a kind apple butter rub to die for. We will be open at 11 AM tomorrow and serving the bbq in the afternoon. Finally a place that serves bbq in the winter months. Don't miss out on a great meal.
This is for sure the best smoker on the market that uses racks that rotate allowing the drippings to fall on the product below. I had one for a number of years and did a lot of events including the fireman's muster, Spring Fest and Furnish Town. I used white oak and found it to be the best for flavor. We did ribs using Southern Prides rub, the best rub, and when we did top rounds, pit beef, we put them on the grill and used black molasses and the old saying that #when there is smoke there is sales" We also did Pit Ham and Pit turkey. In every event the people attending got that smell in the air and we had lines you could not see the end of. Got old and gave it up, but they were the days!
Small detail omitted......WHERE????!!!!
