DeleteNews bulletin...saw my first bicycle on Waverly Ave...not riding in the bike lane but on the sidewalk on the opposite side of the street from the dual lane bike lane. The bike lane was to help the bikers avoid speeding cars...still need a speed trap there, lots of speeders - above 40 mph limit.

I like that! It explains a lot with the negative comments here. I think some people get scared and think they will get trapped driving in a circle and won't be able to get out. A traffic circle is a stupid thing to be upset about. It's necessary, and will improve traffic flow, just like everywhere they have been installed. JDS is alive and well in Salisbury. Thank God it only exists in a small subset of the population in Salisbury, mostly represented here.
The circle by Worwic college works great.

You stand a 1 in 15 chance of being a victim, but hey we have a roundabout, folk festival, F** festival and drag queen pageant. Man we're really moving on up! Headlines consisting of drug convictions and child molestation. It's pretty sad when your mayor puts more emphasis on cosmetic feel good projects instead of the safety and well-being of the community

My goodness! Progress is solving problems like perpetual traffic backups. A round-a-bout does exactly that. You obviously don't know what progress is. How the hell do you live with yourself if something like a round-a-bout gets you so upset you have to cuss and call people names. Four more years. I don't know how you are going to be able to stand it.
