Smoked Pork, Turkey, Chicken, Ham and Wings Available Tonight At Caribbean Joe's

While other BBQ joints are closing for the winter, I'm going full steam ahead on absolutely delicious smoked bbq. I have sandwiches as well as platters that include gravy, mashed potatoes and corn. First come, first served.

  1. The BBQ grill on my back porch is not closed for the winter. In fact, I made baby back ribs this past Saturday. Maybe we should exchange recipes sometime. I do mine at about 300 degrees for about 4 1/2 hours. I always say "about" because there are no hard and fast rules with ribs.

Are you using propane to BBQ and how much does that cost you? Might do that myself if you can offer some tips.

    Thanks

  3. Yes, I use propane and it costs very little because I only use one burner to generate indirect heat and that one burner is turned all the way to low. You absolutely MUST place the ribs on the opposite side of where the heat is or you will just burn the outside of them and the middle will be undercooked.
