Republicans in Ohio have introduced legislation that would make women who receive abortions subject to murder charges.
House Bill 413, introduced by State Reps. Candice Keller and Ron Hood, would "regard the unborn child victim of an aggravated abortion murder or abortion murder as a person who is less than thirteen years of age.”
Under the law, women who receive abortions as part of a lifesaving medical procedure would not be prosecuted as long as they could prove that they took “all possible steps to preserve the life of the unborn child, while preserving the life of the woman.”
Doctors who perform abortion procedures would not be subject to prosecution under the law.

ReplyDeleteSo, you hire a hit man to kill someone, you get a murder charge and the hit man walks?! That makes sense....
We don't need fewer abortions, we need more. Too many people having kids that can't raise them.
ReplyDeleteQuranic scholars have said that terminating the pregnancy is fine as long as it is done before the blood is formed, which is 4 months. So that's my view.
ReplyDeleteThe idea that you would force a rape victim to carry the rapists child with a moral justification from the creator is untenable.
Love this. Because if it affects the mother's health, she can claim self-defense.
ReplyDeleteThat's a bit of "overkill" (pun intended) don't you think?
ReplyDeleteBirth control should be provided free to any woman that wants it,it's a hell of a lot cheaper than tax payers having to support unplanned kids.
