So how in the world does a teenager that doesn't come home after one night out become "news?" He hasn't even been out of the house for 24 hours! It's what every teenager will eventually do. Not news and not an emergency. His helicopter parents need to back off.

There could very well be extenuating circumstances that would provoke a parent to call the police. Let us not judge and just hope for a safe outcome.

ReplyDeleteI think a 22 year old with a car and gas money can do what he wants without having to tell anybody where's he's going. He's way past being an adult.
ReplyDeleteAt 22 years old, it could just be he hooked up with some chick and spent the night. Is that terribly unusual for a 22 year old?
