Comptroller Franchot will spend Monday on the Lower Shore, beginning at Pinehurst Elementary School in Salisbury, where he will participate in the Junior Achievement of the Eastern Shore program to help second graders learn how money is earned and how taxes help pay for needed services such as police and fire departments, schools and roads. He will be joined by Salisbury Mayor Jake Day and other local elected officials.
Next, Mr. Franchot will present the Wicomico County Cornerstone Award for Local Business Excellence to Pete "Rosko" Roskovich, owner of Adam's Taphouse Grille and Black Diamond Catering. Since opening in 1993, Adam's Taphouse has been a fixture of the Fruitland community, known not only for their succulent ribs, but the support they provide to local residents through fundraising and sponsorship opportunities.

Y is Jake there for a county award POS.
ReplyDeleteFranchot! Stay home!
ReplyDeleteI bet you Jake will be at the school too even though he has nothing to do with it. My concern is why is Junior Achievement getting in deep with Day? It will hurt JA in the long run. Unless this another case of you scratch my back I will scratch yours as they say. I am betting there is a deal going on with Gillis, the mayor and Junior Achievement for something. And why does Day get top billing I want know who the other elected officials are. Let me guess, Cornbread. Here come the selfies!

ReplyDeleteOf course he will be. It even says he will be. The people in Salisbury now have to pay for a full time Mayor so he can visit schools and play in front of a camera. The job of Mayor is not a full time job.
"He will be joined by Salisbury Mayor Jake Day and other local elected officials."
ReplyDeleteThe last time I checked Salisbury Middle School was in the county and nowhere near the City of Salisbury.
Last time I checked Adams was in the Town of Fruitland and nowhere near the city limits of Salisbury.
Another freaking dog and pony show for that HOMO FAKE Jake Day!
