ReplyDeleteI would be in favor of subsidizing a fare card good for one round trip a day from the stop closest to home, to the closest stop near their job.
ReplyDeleteIf you’re making minimum wage, $5.50 a day x 5 is $27.50 a week if you work five days. So yes, help them out.
Otherwise it’s not a matter of being too poor to pay, they just don’t want to.
