Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger has reportedly been fined $5,000 by the NFL for a uniform violation because he wore an Apple Watch on the Steelers' sideline Monday night when the Steelers hosted the Cincinnati Bengals, according to ESPN.
ESPN reported that Roethlisberger is "livid" about the fine and is appealing it.
With Roethlisberger unable to use his right arm, his wife dressed him for the Monday night game and strapped the Apple Watch on his left wrist, ESPN reported.

At first, I was appalled by the notion of getting fined because of a watch. Then it was pointed out that these could be used as a form of communication (cheating) with others.
ReplyDeleteHe wasn't playing
DeleteSeriously, who writes this crap..."his wife dressed him" dumbazzes
ReplyDeleteSo the watch doesn't communicate unless it is in range of the phone.
ReplyDeleteScrew football. Been there done with that.
ReplyDeleteEmail or Tex ..from NFL rules ..he should know exactly what can be Wore ...sorry he makes millions ...no excuses ! That's just my opinion !
ReplyDeletewho cares -I gave up watching pro football....better for me to spend time with my family
ReplyDeleteApple sucks
ReplyDeleteAgreed, I won't buy anything apple.
DeleteCracks me up when folks who "I gave up on football" continue to chime in on football stories
ReplyDeleteHow do you know who's chiming in
DeleteBut yet they can kneel during the Anthem and NOTHING Happens.

ReplyDeleteTotal lack of NFL common sense. His right arm is in a cast and brace concoction making use of the exposed hand difficult at best for any action, let alone doing anything ala Dick Tracey with the watch.
The need to "Apple" anything, is pathetic. Loser. Follower. Sad.
ReplyDeleteIf only Tom Brady had worn the apple watch.
