Glamour magazine thinks soccer star Megan Rapinoe is “the unapologetic pink-haired icon we’ve needed in 2019.” In reality, she’s a terrible role model for women everywhere.
Glamour decided to select Rapinoe for their annual 'Women of the Year’ shortlist, which highlights eight women they see as “remarkable women” and “warriors on the front lines of change.” And of course it’s true that Rapinoe accomplished a great deal this year, leading the U.S. Women’s National Team to victory at the Women’s World Cup and scoring six goals in the process.
But her personal escapades undermine all this accomplishment and disqualify her from deserving any sort of accolade. She has used her public platform to peddle in obnoxious self-victimhood, insult the country, display contempt for Americans, and lie about sexism in sports

Not even close there are other choices that young girls and ladies should model themselves after but definitely not that United States of America hater. She should sing opera because it's all about me me me me me.
ReplyDeleteI'll NEVER watch women's soccer AGAIN !!!
ReplyDeleteTypical libtarded POS. Lost confused evil lying deceptacon. Please leave your not wanted here if thats how you feel.
ReplyDeleteWorthless commie, i loved soccer my whole life, but refuse to watch it anymore. Between her and her and I saw another league that lets atifa fly a flag but not a Betsy Ross flag. Yeah, NASCAR gone, football gone, NBA gone. Still got hockey. I see myself not watching baseball anymore sometime in the future,
ReplyDeleteNot worthy
ReplyDeleteIt is the SHOCK factor. It sells their rag. Do you think anyone would care if it was a no name!
ReplyDeleteIt's interesting when you have one comment stating that if you don't think like everyone else than you're not wanted here. Then the one under it is calling her a commie. Maybe you conservatives should make up your mind, which is it?
ReplyDeleteYou either love america or you dont. She does not. Look how great america has been to her and still this crap. Women in soccer may make less money then men,, do the ticket sales out sell mens soccer. I don't know but I doubt it. It is a business. If the sales bring more than the men's soccer than her beef is with her league, not the government. Now go to mommies basement and shut up
DeleteThis is just a pimple on the behind of women's soccer. Leave it alone and it'll disappear. Mess with it and it'll get infected and leave a scar.
