define large numbers? Not to many people around here release balloons because we all know the impact of the environment.
ReplyDeleteI'll release balloons if I want, thinking about going to a store and buy a bag right now. When I get home, I'll fill them all with helium and quickly release them. Such a stupid law to try to pass, just like the straw law. Only sheeple would obey such a law.

Releasing balloons is protected speech it is my 1st. amendment right to say it with Balloons!

I agree. This is also a waste of time. One can only imagine what this feel-good legislation is for?
The last time I checked the County Executive was the executive branch and the County Council was the legislative branch. Leave the legislating to the County Council and stick to running the county.

I know right. So since this is a law that can't and won't be enforced then why waste your time with this feel good legislation?
Ok, where is the rest of it? How is it going to be enforced? Who is going to enforce it? What are the penalties if there is a violation? This is the most half-a$$ed legislation I have ever seen written.
