Incident: Threat of Mass Violence

Date of Incident: 5 September 2019


Location: James M. Bennett High School, Salisbury, MD


Suspect: Male Juvenile, 16, Salisbury, MD


Narrative: On 5 September 2019 at 5:45 PM, it was brought to the attention of the Sheriff’s Office that a 16-year-old student who attends James M. Bennett High School had made some concerning social media posts. According to the complaints, this juvenile had posted a picture of a firearm and a tactical vest with comments that implied a desire to commit a shooting in the school.


A deputy was able to identify the author of the post and immediately responded to that juvenile’s residence. At the conclusion of this investigation, during which the juvenile was interviewed, a decision was made to transport the juvenile back to the Sheriff’s Office. Upon contacting the Department of Juvenile Services, the juvenile involved in this case was detained in the Lower Shore Children’s Center pending a future court hearing.

  4. He's just a little boy! He is being misunderstood, and bullied by the authorities! Momma says he is a good boy and would never hurt a fly! He has a girlfriend, and used to have a pet Hamster, (till he burned in alive on the gas grill). He wants to be known as "IT" because he doesn't identify with either sex.


    Sounds about right for the next school shooter!

  8. Don’t be so quick to buy this story. Remember the kid who got in trouble because he supposedly chewed his pop tart into the shape of a gun? Sometimes it’s mass hysteria.

  11. @4:24 it's a shame with this kid. He has natural ability to excel in football but no drive and desire. If he would listen and put the work on he could I possibly play at the college level but his head is all screwed up. The kid at 16 years old is bigger than most adult male and strong as an ox but he's clueless
