Police: Towson University resident student charged in alleged rape of another student

TOWSON, Md. —Baltimore County police said they have charged a 20-year-old male Towson University resident student in connection with the alleged rape of another student.

According to officials, Onyekackukwu Chukwuebuk Igwilo, 20, is charged with first-degree rape, attempted first-degree rape, false imprisonment and first- and second-degree assault.

Officials said the victim was assaulted around 3:30 p.m. Sunday in the 400 block of Towson Way. The victim told police she had gone to her friend’s apartment to watch a movie. Igwilo was also there, officials said.

The group was watching the movie in Igwilo's bedroom when he touched her and climbed on top of her, the victim said. Officials said the victim said, "No," but Igwilo put his hands on her throat. When she told him again to stop, Igwilo raped her and would not let her leave, officials said.

  2. Northwest Woodsman: Another thought is that years of government egalitarian BS that blacks are just like us except for the color of their skin is just that, BS. Anyone who has actually had to deal with average blacks day in and day out knows that the reality is significantly different. This is the reason integration, affirmative action and multiculturalism has been an abject failure. Those programs do not take into account the cultural differences or the biological/genetic differences. Abraham Lincoln recognized the reality of racial differences as did other people of that era.

  3. You get raped in an apartment with a group of "friends" while watching a movie. Sounds like her "friends" deserve some charges too.

  6. "Did a cat walk on the keyboard when the birth certificate was being made?" That is a good one!!

I asked a coworker, who is Nigerian by birth, with some help on the pronunciation and he had no problem with it. It does not sound anything like it is spelled. I was told that this clown is from the same tribe as my coworker.

One does have to wonder just what the other member(s) of the group were doing when this occurrence was transpiring. Something doesn't sound quite right but I was not there so I cannot say for sure.

    Just my two cents.

They are the ONLY immigrants to come to this country that have failed to assimilate into the American culture, even after 154 years of citizenship. Many cannot be civilized. Their behaviors come from their homes / tribes (also known as the "Hood"). All other immigrants take approximately 2 generations to fully assimilate. What makes them different? I allege the government holds them back and makes them dependent on handouts, for nothing but political reasons and power.

Abraham Lincoln freed the slaves with the Emancipation Proclamation, but his writings reveal that it was his goal to return them to their homeland. His writings on this are a part of documented history. But then Lincoln was killed, and politicians in congress passed the law that made them citizens. That was never Lincoln's intent. As usual to this day, Congress screws the American citizens. If Lincoln's assassin had known the end result of his actions, he would have left Lincoln to follow through on his plans for the slaves. They didn't come here as immigrants, and they were never meant to be citizens. We are paying for the sins of our forefathers.
