I had a great time there. My only complaint is that you would only accept cash and not my credit or debit card. I had to pay a 5 dollar atm fee and a 1.50 fee from my bank to use your atm. Is there anyway in the future, you might be able to accept credit or debit? Most people like me don't carry cash.
Scott, thanks for visiting and I'm glad you had a great time. Unfortunately it is impossible to take credit cards at an "event" like Bike Week and let me explain why.
So a guy comes to the bar and orders one beer and hands a debit or credit card. The customers are 4 to 6 deep at the bar. You then have to wait a good minute for it to process, then get the customer to review it and hopefully add a tip to it. Then the bartender has to close out that check. (yes, I even have ethernet lines to make it process faster)
Notice I mentioned the word "event" above. OC Bike Fest takes no credit cards at the Inlet or Convention Center and this is exactly why. It takes too long to process and it is very inconvenient. Most everyone who attends events knows this is what is going to happen.
Please consider this the next time you go to any of these type of events. No one is trying to make it inconvenient but we are trying to do our best the please the masses and serve each customer their drinks as fast as possible.
Thanks Joe, I will definitely remember this and will definitely attend this next year and bring cash. I had the time of my life!
I felt young again to be with people my own age acting like teenagers!
I loved the music and the people!
No regrets, and the extra atm fees were still worth the price to be at this event! I haven't had this much fun since I attended a Foreigner concert ten years ago at the Maryland State Fair in Timonium.
Joe, I told my family members from Mass.about your place and they went. you were so kind to them and spent 20 mins just talking to them. They loved it and the food. they told me they will go back next year just because of you.Thank you for making them feel so welcome. (map)

The palm trees are a nice touch!
Thanks, Joe & Mark - it was great!
