A Viewer Writes...........9-12-19

I'm just curious why Jake Day gets to put his campaign signs up on City property at the Salisbury City Park and across the street on at a vacant house. You can see 2 of his signs on the Snow Hill Rd. side of the park and 2 across the street. Is he that full of himself that he thinks he is above the law?

  1. Same reason the current President gets to campaign while doing their presidential duties right?

    1. Every president does that. It's not like your job at McDonalds where if you are on the clock you have to be at your fry station or you are stealing company time.

  2. The answer is yes on both points.

  3. He is full of himself to think that and even worse he gets away with it.

  5. Just what does the "law" say? Do you even know? I want the viewer to explain what "laws" are being broken.

  6. That "vacant house" is private property. No law broken, unless the property owner objects. Pull it up, and you're guilty of stealing. That's breaking the law.

  7. 11:13 AM, and because the city park is city property and he's the boy mayor, that's ok?

  8. Check the ownership of the house. It's likely owned by one of Jake's real estate/landlord buddies.

I guess you don't have any idea what they do to people that steal political signs from people's yards. A lot of homes and businesses have have security cameras. The dunces that steal the signs often get caught, And yes, they get punished by the law. Don't be stupid, or say stupid things.

  23. Theres one way to win put up more signs than Boy Mayor or put up Billboard Signs Thousands see them.

  24. 1:10 PM This is SBY city limits. Who is going to punish them?

    ReplyDelete
  25. The ordinance is you can place political signs on government, city, state, county property or you get fined. Heath did last cycle and I can tell you the one sign I put by the library was immediately removed. But when it comes to Jake or Heaths crew they get a way with it. However if you call the election board and report it they will call Jake and ask him to remove it. (410) 548-4830

I agree with you 100% and I would love to start with Jake Day first. Can't wait to find him in public by himself. I wish I could catch him on the boardwalk.

Don't eat there. They get special privileges from Jake Day, that is why he supports them. Who else gets to take up 3 parking spaces for free every day. Those food trucks are stealing business from the taxpaying restaurants in town and they get free parking at prime locations. This is unethical as well!

    You can or you can't?

I remember when Norm Conway was a Delegate and Barrie Tilghman and Jim Ireton both let him put his signs up on city property and no one complained. It's that Democrat love.

I'm not sure who you are directing that to but I'm pretty sure that 7:05 pm isn't a Democrat. Looks to me like the owners of the Food trucks are Democrats if they are supporting Gay Day!

By the way, has anyone ever noticed that those food trucks don't have running water?? And you idiots are eating food prepared with fecal fingers.
