Police: Alabama woman pours hot grease on armed burglar breaking into her house

DECATUR, Al. — A burglar in Alabama suffered burns to the face after attempting to break into an unsuspecting woman's home.

The Decatur Police Department responded to reports of a domestic dispute on August 1. Upon arrival, they made contact with a male identified as Larondrick Macklin, who had burns all over his face.

Police say he was transported to the hospital for treatment.

Officers learned Macklin had entered a woman's house with a firearm, and the victim defended herself with a pot containing hot grease.
