While visiting LA’s poverty-stricken Skid Row, Congresswoman Maxine Waters made sure to ask for her $10 dollars in change back after buying a book from a homeless person.
The optics weren’t great.
“Waters visited the desolate on the corner of 5th and San Pedro in the heart of the city’s Skid Row, where she touted a $13 billion bill known as the “Ending Homelessness Act,” reports the American Mirror.
Along with Rep. Al Green and a gaggle of her staff, Waters visited a “tent protest” organized by homeless activist Stephanie Arnold Williams.

ReplyDeleteGuess she could have hired the seller to read the book to her.
The purchase was strictly for show, for the cameras.
She is really a piece of work.
ReplyDeleteNo Maxine, your district needs "Change"!
ReplyDeleteWaters is a racist and a hypocrite she has no concept of the real world . If you look at her home and her vast fortune she should never have asked for change back she lost all credibility for visiting '' SKID ROW". She just wanted the media attention, just like she always does. She really needs to crawl back under the rock she climbed out of.
ReplyDeleteCheap BITCH.
ReplyDeleteWaters should be on Skid Row !!!! OUT of Govt
ReplyDeleteAnyone watch the video? These fools deserve what they get. Maxine is partly to blame for the situation they are in. She wants to throw some money at it and think it will go away. It never does. The money is always wasted and the politicians and their family pad their pockets. They fell for this BS hook line and sinker and will vote for her again and continue to be homeless.
ReplyDelete12:44 Nailed it.
DeleteMaxy is a idiot...
ReplyDeleteWe all know those people don’t tip
ReplyDelete“Ending Homelessness Act.”
ReplyDeleteIt's not real, it's an act, written, directed and starring an actress.
