Wow,what a flashback!We used to stop at the English's trailer sitting on the right of 50 coming back from OC.They sold fried chicken as fast as they could make it.
ReplyDeleteBest chicken that was served on the Eastern Shore. Several of us old timers would love to have it return. Their recipe is the best hot or cold. I believe Mr English's grandson has the original. recipe under lock and key
ReplyDeleteIn the early 1980s I could take my wife and three small children to English's in Westover on Friday night and feed everyone for $15.00. I believe they had a kid's meal called a biddy tub or kiddy biddy tub or something like that.

ReplyDeleteWhat ever you google is not English Fried Chicken. Have emailed the grandson last year and he would give up the original recipe. So I don't know what you found or what you are cooking but it is not English Fried Chicken.
