I remember asking my mom who would buy that. She said it is likely for people camping or at the beach. My quick reply was who wants cereal, instead of eggs and bacon when camping, and who wants cereal on a hot day at the beach. She then said it might be good for kids, so they don't have to get a bowl. "But Mom, getting a bowl is far easier than opening that box just right." We couldn't think of one useful occasion for it, other then the novelty of it at the time. No wonder it was short lived.
Camping and vacations. That was our go to cereal box.

ReplyDeleteHell, yeah! They were great to take when working up the road, w/milk in the cooler.
