  1. Brittany, in case anyone else gets it, do you remember what they gave him that worked? Asking for a friend.
And, did doctors provide any preventive advice besides not swimming in Assowoman Bay?
I hope your son makes a full recovery with minimal scarring. Thanks for sharing.

  4. Well this will be good for tourism!!!
I love the beach, but when I go, I usually stay at a resort with a pool.

Too many people and too much raw sewage and other fertilizers going into our waterways.

  8. 10:22 you are to damn funny, I worked maintenance for many years on pools, hotel pools are the worst for fecal bacteria and urine, little kids that let it go anywhere and everywhere, let alone those who jump in without showering! NASTY!. We won't mention those warm water amoebe's that swim up your nose and eat your brain!
    enjoy swimming in others toilets!

  9. Look, ocean city has made national news! Salisbury even gets a mention! Think that Jake Day will issue a statement or start a new bacterial infection festival to keep it going? Front page of fox right now... https://www.foxnews.com/health/boy-flesh-eating-bacteria-beach
