Bumbler, frail, feeble: Democrats lament Mueller performance before Congress

Many Democrats expressed concern on social media over Robert Mueller's performance during his testimony in front of the House Judiciary Committee Wednesday morning.

Former President Barack Obama adviser and CNN commentator David Axelrod said that Mueller "does not appear as sharp as he was" when he testified in front of Congress six years earlier.

The former special counsel is testifying about his 448-page report released in March, in which he concluded that neither the president or his campaign knowingly conspired with Russia to win the 2016 presidential election. Despite that, Mueller did not rule whether or not the president obstructed justice, following a long-standing Department of Justice guideline saying a sitting president cannot be indicted.

  2. It was just so obvious that Mueller was simply used as a figurehead in this entire “investigation”. He had very little knowledge or input in the “investigation”. The dumbocrats pulled his strings!!!

  4. I agree with 6:00 pm. Mueller didn't know that the members on his team where all Democrats. Those who contributed to Hillary's campaign. He didn't know much of anything. American has been had. Need investigation on Mueller. Who wrote the report. Who did the interviews. Maybe AG Barr has that info already. By the way, just read Nadler is going to subpoena the full report unredacted. What an idiot.

  5. Reminded me of a third-grader who blew off studying for his spelling test. The only contribution that man made to that so-called investigation would appear to be his name.
