CONCORD, NH (WGME) -- The pickup truck driver involved in a crash that killed seven people in Randolph, New Hampshire, is facing seven counts of negligent homicide.
Volodymyr Zhukovskyy, 23, was arrested at his home in West Springfield, Massachusetts Monday morning.
Troopers also say they located wax packets containing a residue suspected of being heroin in Zhukovskyy's apartment.
Officials said Zhukovskyy was driving a pickup truck that was towing a flatbed trailer when it collided with a group of motorcycles around 6:30 p.m. on Friday on Route 2.

As a motorcycle enthusiast I am sorry for the loss of life. But, as I read the article and saw the images of the wreckage, I could not believe that there was not some kind of fault involving the truck operator. He had to plow straight into the pack of bikers at a high rate of speed to cause such carnage.
ReplyDeleteThe roads are really twisting and a lot of hills. I road them years ago and never went back to dangerous. I only ride on flat straight roads. Not saying it had anything to do with this.
