“We’re excited for the first year of Summerfest and the opportunity to bring these events to multiple communities,” said Allen Swiger, program director for Wicomico County Recreation & Parks. “Kids can enjoy fun activities, music and food – all for free. Come out and enjoy some fun in the sun.”
A hot dog, chips and a drink will be provided to the first 200 kids for free. A food vendor will be on-site with more options for adults.
You know why Salisbury gets all the funds just like everyone else does, where is the majority of black population?
ReplyDeleteJust shameful from scared and intimidated politicians "acting" like the represent all citizens.
ReplyDeleteThe truth is, most white kids live out of Slumsbury, the funds are to benefit the black kids living in this Slum pit.
ReplyDeleteThis is to keep the thugs quite.
ReplyDeleteHey we been waiting for 3 years to get a washed out roadway fixed in Mardela Springs that the County let wash out when they did not open the flood gate on a pond in a big storm
ReplyDeleteEvery town at one time held soft ball games all season long with the town / teams traveling to the different towns now it has to be played at the park in Salisbury result no out side players except those from Salisbury
All the reps on the County Council except Joe Hollaway have Salisbury addresses
lines are set so only Salisbury get reps on Council Wait and see who gets the district 2 spot won't be from out side of Salisbury
Truth!
DeleteGiving the most Money to the most unappreciative and unworthy people. They ones who DO NOTHING but TAKE and destroy.
ReplyDeleteI hope God blesses these precious commenters.
ReplyDeleteGiving programs to people that pay ZERO TAXES
ReplyDeleteIt's because there's no shame in the majority population of Salisbury. They'll take any and all free stuff Jake Day/Bob Culver wants to give them. Volunteering at several feeding ministries I've witnessed the same people showing up at different locations taking several hundred dollars worth of food from each one. This whole they ride up in a 30,000 vehicle and a couple of them employees at Salisbury university
ReplyDeleteWhat happens when the 200 hot dogs are gone? Riot?
ReplyDelete11:10,bring in the lobster and crabcakes.
ReplyDeleteIf I were a resident of the west side of wicomico county and had school aged children I wouldn't take part in ANY of the garbage the city or county offers. You've proven that the schools in that part of the county are better and the kids for the most part seem to be better behaved. Don't let your kids be contaminated by what the rest of wicomico county is doing
ReplyDeleteAmazing , ain't it? We all just have to remember all these injustices come voting time. We , as high paying property tax home owners have to finance all the slumlord dwellers activities for their children, yet,the county children get.........you know what.......SH*T on, as usual.
ReplyDeleteHey Allen! All for free? You are drunk on KoolAid if you believe that statement. Oh! I forgot that you are a county employee and spending local taxpayers money.
ReplyDeleteThey do know that the parents of these kids are going to send the kids up there for the free hot dogs and chips and drink and bring it back to the parents, right? They know how to work it to get what they want for free. Constantly getting freebies. Or better yet, free to them. Someone is paying for this. It will be fun for them till the thugs show up for their free stuff.
ReplyDelete@ June 14,2019 at 10:09 AM. We will just have thugs with full bellies after dark that's all.
ReplyDeleteThey do this to get them to shut their complaining mouths. They complain that their kids have nothing to do,that's why they commit crimes(never because of their lack of parenting skills, and you know, not accepting their own responsibilities)so our glorious leaders do such as this. Wait till kid number 201 and up shows up and there are no more dogs for the parent to shove down THEIR throat. The shite will hit the fan.
ReplyDelete@ June 14,2019 at 10:57 AM. Hey, you know when the freebies are handed out, here come ALL the roaches. The cell phones come out and it's, "You bess gets yo azz down here rat now, dis shite is fo free." Oh, I be dere, just lets me warm up the suv." Things like this are abused by them big time. I see it too. They park their expensive cars around the corner and walk in all entitled. Claiming they have it so bad. " Bless you all, you hear me, Bless you all. Then when out the door, tee hee hee. I gots mine.
