Newt: Pelosi 'Looking Like a Jerk' on Prison Comment
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi was "looking like a jerk" with her comments about wanting to see President Donald Trump in prison, and she's in a fight she won't win, former House Speaker Newt Gingrich said Friday.
"I think she has set the standard," Gingrich told Fox News' "America's Newsroom." "When you say you want to see somebody in jail, probably that person doesn't respond very well and with Trump you have somebody who always counter-punches."
"I don't think this is a fight she wins."
He pointed to Trump's past 10 days and his trips to Japan and to London, calling his actions "very presidential."
For the third in line for the presidency to suggest that she would like to see the duly elected president of the United States in jail (without charges or a trial yet) reeks of a coup attempt. If she was to attempt, and succeed, to put Trump in jail, all she would have to do would be to do the same to Pence. Coup D'etat. Fait accomplished. Pelosi is president (in her delusional mind). She has lost her mind to dementia. Her comments as Speaker are proving it. Her comments are nearing a treasonous stage.
If anyone should be in prison it's her and the rest of the Democratic congress.
