ReplyDeleteCome on now with the personal attacks. Obviously this is photo shopped. There was a way to prevent this whole thing from happening Salisbury...at the ballot box. Voters let this happen. Look at statistics at how many registered voters voted. I don't have a dog in the hunt but it is apparent constituents are not engaged and comfortable with the status quo. All these negative comments are either from someone like me (not a resident) or those who just don't care enough to make a difference.

ReplyDeleteAfter my fathers time in the Navy, he went into the Guard. During the Gulf War many of the units in his division were mobilized, and they went to war. Men that he knew and that I do served and died there serving their country.
Your comments are a disgrace, and you are a stain. Their service is no less honorable than that of any other patriot serving their country.

ReplyDeleteI guess he is involved. But what are his motives? Its not making Salisbury as a whole prosperous. He is hanging his hat on an area that most people stopped frequenting 30 years ago. That's fine. But don't expect me to give a rats a$$ about all the bars he is propping up trying to improve the Night Life. He awarded a start up brewing company $2000 in forgivable loans. Sure he is involved. He is pushing a lifestyle, end of story. He is not pushing jobs, economic growth, stability or basic morality.
His ideas are terrible and he is a moron.
I am also not sure who or what Wayne King is but I got news for you. If you think he is going to come here and represent the values of the people that were born here you are insane. He is a city conservative. His social views are probably not far from Jake's. However, if he can keep his personal stuff out of the job and not spend money like a closeted sailor on shore leave than I guess we will be better. A backhanded endorsement if ever there was one.

ReplyDeleteIs the city paying the licensing fee to play the movie or are they just popping in a dvd? To play a licensed movie like this, to the public, you have to pay copyright fees. On top of that, each time Jake modifies a licensed photo, Back to the Future before and now Ferris, he/the city are creating copyright infringement.
ReplyDeleteThis guy is such a moron. Question, did the city implement any of the suggestions that came from having the secret service, or whoever it was, come look at the set up for the festival last year and explain all the things that were logistically wrong?
And the first movie he picks is his life history Ferris Bueller he is, couldn't fit him better the next choice should be a Jerry Lewis re-run his other hero.
