ROCKVILLE, Md. (ABC7) — A former assistant principal at Damascus High School who was charged with drunk driving twice in less than two years will become an assistant principal at Col. E. Brooke Lee Middle School in Silver Spring.
Maniya Jules, 50, a 22-year veteran of the Montgomery County Public Schools system, was placed on personal leave in April after she was arrested on drunk driving charges and a license restriction violation.
Around 12:45 a.m. on Friday, March 22, a Montgomery County Police officer found Jules behind the wheel of a Honda with two flat tires, idling on the side of the road near Herbert Hoover Middle School in Potomac.
