If anyone has ever taken a sailing vacation in the BVI, you know how liberating turning your phone off for a week or 2 can be. You rediscover yourself and life's meaning. I highly recommend it.
Absolutely! I would welcome it. There was a lot more anger and hate and then and more kids getting along playing outside together. That would be wonderful. Plus much better music!
Northwest Woodsman: The only thing I would miss would be Amazon.com. However, if it brought back mom and pop stores in local communities, I’d be thrilled. Graduated from Snow Hill June 60 and at that time we had three car dealerships, two men’s clothing stores, a furniture store, drug store, hardware store, a Western Auto store, a 5&10 store, two grocery stores, and probably several that I have forgotten. Really did not need to leave the community for anything. Although I recall not being able to find a surfboard rack for my car. In those days, there was little surfing interest on the east coast. Other than that, we had all we needed. I loved summer days back then !
Yes. I wish that was actually possible. I deplore the use/rudeness of cell phones, this computer I have no choice but to have, way to much to watch on T.V.. Pull the plug on it all. Put pay phones back. Shut down the internet. Life would be good again. Or of when life was good for me. People would have to actually watch an event instead of standing in the stands with their phones recording it. So stupid. Go to the Super Bowl. And instead of watching the game or celebration after, everyone is videoing it on their phone. BACK TO THE FUTURE AND CHANGE IT ALL!
YES everybody would have to take personal responsibility of what they do and say. Everyone would have to communicate face to face and walk the walk and not hide behind the internet. I say my peace whether people like it or not to their face.
Yes 100%

Absolutely. As long as we don't have to wear the time period clothes and hairstyles!
