Salisbury, MD: A start-up church in Salisbury, Maryland of 20 People is seeking donations of food and water to distribute to local homeless camps on, April 20th2019. (The day before Easter) The group is also looking for volunteers to help distribute the food, and aidewith trash collection and cleaning of the camps.

One camp is home to a pregnant woman, and the other has a young family with a child. They are in desperate need of food, water, and hygiene supplies. The church became aware of both camps and has decided to provide food, and water to the camps along with spiritual services, love, and a hot meal. The group is new and growing, but needs help from the community to gather the much-needed supplies for the two camps.

The church is not having an Easter service this year,; instead they are excited to serve the community. Recently on their “Blitz Day”, they cleaned the CityPark, fed a homeless man, collected and donated 15 bags of clothing to a local organization, walked dogs at the Wicomico County Humane Society, and delivered cookies to the Salisbury Police Department, Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office, and the Maryland State Police barracks in Salisbury. They are excited to continue living out their mission of “Painting Delmarva with the Love of God.

    1. Believe me when I say, it's hard to hear the word of God over your stomach growling.

  2. with all the entities my taxes pay for in this state that throw money down a rat hole giving to those who refuse to work, I find it difficult at best to believe there is no place for these folks to get help.
Maybe you could start by dropping off free groceries at my house once a week. It would be truly appreciated, and could you possible take my trash to the dump once a week?
    Piss off!

  4. Yes, why is it your tax money goes to people who don't get out of bed until noon. Why does your tax money pay for call phones for people who do not work. Then there is Section 8 - Snap.
What camps are you speaking of. Give these people jobs and set them free.
