The Greater Baltimore Committee’s board of directors wrote Pugh “no longer possesses the public trust or moral authority” to lead the Maryland city.
“This was a difficult decision requiring a great deal of thought, but the GBC believes the Mayor can no longer provide the leadership and effective government that Baltimore needs and deserves at this time,” the committee’s president and CEO, Donald C. Fry said in the Friday statement. “The GBC Board determined that it is necessary for Mayor Pugh to resign so the city can move on, heal and leverage the many positive assets it has going for it.”

She will do just like old "Black-Face Northam" and people will soon forget it.
ReplyDeleteShe has plenty of sick leave time accrued on the books. She is using this to receive full pay until the inevitable end of her career happens. She knows her free ride is nearing an end and just collecting as much pay as she can.
ReplyDeleteMost likely she will end up at a university with a make busy job, just like Mathias at UMES. The dems will take care of her. They know she will spill the beans on other corrupt dem politicians if they don't give her a make busy job at about $150,000.00, just like Mathias.
She was busy enriching herself while that city continues it's spiral into a cess pool of blight, drugs, crime, record high murders, poor performing schools, chronic absenteeism, low homeownership rate, high unemployment, high illegitimate birth rate. Sounds a lot like where Salisbury is heading.
ReplyDeleteDemocrats overlook trivial stuff like this.
ReplyDeleteAnother Democrat is ready to step in and keep the ship sinking. You will not ever see a Republican Mayor win in Baltimores rigged elections.
ReplyDeleteNorthwest Woodsman: Moral authority? Who would have ever thought that with this particular brand of politician would even know the meaning of those words. You have to remember who we are talking about here.
