SAN ANTONIO (WOAI/KABB) - Catholic Charities estimates 5000 migrants have crossed the Texas/Mexico border this past week, now they are in their care.
Catholic Charities said more than a thousand migrants have been dropped off to the San Antonio Greyhound bus station.
This comes after overcrowded detention centers started releasing migrants.
"This past week has been very long for us, a lot of people crossing the border, a lot of people coming to San Antonio," Catholic Charities CEO Antonio Fernandez said.

ReplyDeleteIf they can't find work and can't get free benefits they will stay home. If they cross the border illegally they are invaders and should be treated as enemys and jailed or shot.
ReplyDeleteDave T: I hope ya'll are still feeling so bright and cheery to adopt all these new immigrants when your new tax bills arrive to pay for their 10 kids, grand parents, aunts and uncles who are sick and need healthcare and an education. Meanwhile, here we are still working to even afford our own healthcare.
