"Its For The Children" No, It's For Your Wallets!

Today, the Senate voted against an overwhelming majority of Marylanders who strongly support schools starting after Labor Day and sided with lobbyists, paid political operatives, and special interest groups. This common sense policy has always had broad, bipartisan support for years. The legislature voted nearly unanimously to study the issue, and their task force made up of legislators, education experts, teachers, and parents voted in favor of starting school after Labor Day by a 12-3 majority.

Some of the Senators who voted to stop the post-Labor Day start have previously SPONSORED legislation to start schools after Labor Day in the past - as recently as 2016. If that isn’t blatant, partisan hypocrisy, then I don’t know what is.

Contact these Senators and tell them that they are opposing the will of voters like you:

  4. Who cares when they start?? The outcome will be the same. HS graduation rate at 60% along with 40% of 3rd graders can read. WOW. The department of education for Maryland is on FIRE. What's Maryland rank for students who can read, write, and arithmetic??? HAHAHA. I'm embarrassed to even say. So go ahead and bitch about when these STOOGE pupils start recess.

  5. It is truly sad that even at the State level, Democrats seem to disregard the will of the majority of the people. In what seems to be total arrogance of we know better than the people is continuing to be demonstrated by their actions. My prayer continues to be that voters “wake up” and vote these people out of office.

  8. My listeners. Yes. This is the factual nature of our times. Fellow travelers, you must be aware of the era we have entered. Ushered in by the 1994 rise of the connected ones, we have slowly been giving away our Sovereign rights to the New World Order. Some if you mock my words. But you know they are true. Facebook. The Amazon machine. Google. Mant of you give your Information to the machines and their operators, usually Mindless Drone Leftists such as Jeff Bezos. Twitter. Yes. Many of the Drones put all of their information out on Facebook. Zuckerberg wants your data. Why? Now the push to silence our First Amendment rights as well as those that guarantee them. Why? They want socialism and the destruction of our beautiful nation. Heterosexual men of European decent are made to feel inferior. Like a plague. I for one will not be made to feel this way.

    The question is-

What do they have in store for you?

  10. These idiots will use the excuse for not excepting your emails or calls is they represent their constitutes and not others from other districts in MD. Then I ask why do you pass bills that effect all Marylanders? They ignore you and get irritated. That is a Democrat Politian for you.
