Former Vice President Joe Biden is almost certain to run for president in 2020, a source with direct knowledge told Fox News on Thursday.
The source said the timing of an announcement is still up in the air. With such a crowded field of Democratic hopefuls, Biden wants to keep big donors and potential staffers with him, and has been conducting outreach to former colleagues, grassroots activists and contributors, the source said.
Fox News also confirmed through two sources that California Democratic Sen. Dianne Feinstein met privately Thursday morning with Biden. The sources said Feinstein expects Biden to run.
A “Friends of Joe” group, which has been inactive since 2016, has been busy with a flurry of emails, conversations and activities, the source said. The group comprises longtime aides, donors, supporters and friends.
The 76-year-old former vice president’s decision comes as a slew of younger and more liberal Democrats have already jumped into the fray, including Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren, California Sen. Kamala Harris, and New Jersey Sen. Cory Booker.

ReplyDeleteCan't wait for his past to be stirred up and publicised, but then again the msm might try to brush his touchy feeley habits under the rug.
ReplyDeleteHe talking crap like he always does. Just like what he said about promising his dying son he'd run BULLSHIT. This guy is delusional.
ReplyDeleteStay in Delaware.
ReplyDeleteI hope the Dumbocrats put their full support behind creepy Joe, President Trump....4 more years!!!!
ReplyDeleteIf Biden is 76 now he will be 78 in 2020. Add 4 years into the equation and that would make him 82 when he would be up for re-election. You get my point. Since he appears to have lost his mind already what could we expect 2 years.
ReplyDeleteRun joe run
