On 2/11/19 at 0546 hours Troopers from the Salisbury Barrack were dispatched to the Gordy Tiger Mart located at 8600 Ocean Highway, Delmar, MD, for a report of a vehicle collision. The caller reported that the driver was attempting to flee the scene but his vehicle was stuck in the median.
When Troopers arrived on the scene, they observed a white 2010 Ford Mustang that was stuck in a small grass median after it had collided with a curb. The driver of the vehicle was identified as Mario Alphonse, of Seaford, DE. While speaking with the driver Troopers learned that the driver was attempting to back out of a parking spot and traveled up over the curb and onto the median.
