  7. Teachers don't make cancellation or delay decisions. Cancellations often extend the school, and teacher work, year.

    Most teachers I know tend conservative; they are not happy having to coddle the scofflaws that Obama era insulated from discipline.

    Closing today was reasonable given snow, rain, refreeze and snow again sequence.

  8. How much teaching and learning are actually accomplished on a snowy day when all the kids want to do is play in the snow. Yes parents are snowflakes when it comes to "snowy days" but all is lost from the start.

  9. Don't forget to clear the bike lanes. Those thousands of bike commuters need to get to work. And until his vehicle is repaired that probably includes da mare.
