  2. Resolution No. 2898- approving the appointment of Anthony Spyros Sarbanes to the Ethics Commission for term ending January 2023
    ----

Ironically Democrat Socialist Boi Mayor Jake Day wants to appoint one of the most unethical people in Wicomico County to the Ethics Commission.

    What a Joke!

  4. This is FOLKED UP!! More grant money from the taxpayers going towards that FAILED National Folk Festival. If the folk festival was such a success then why is Jake Day desperately searching out grants to pay for this nightmare???

    ******

Ordinance No. 2518- 1st reading- authorizing the Mayor to enter into a contract with the Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD) for the purpose of accepting grant funds in the amount of $25,000, authorizing the Mayor to enter into a sub-recipient agreement with the Salisbury Arts & Entertainment District, Inc. and approving a budget amendment to the FY 2019 grant fund to appropriate funds for the 2019 National Folk Festival

  5. Jake Day, Jack Heath and Muir Boda, you clowns are really losing it here. I guess this is payback for all the paid firemen and fire officers working to get Jack Heath elected to Wicomico County Executive. Like paid Salisbury Assistant Chief Chris "Crash" O'Barsky (who lives in Fruitland) displaying large "Vote Jack Heath" magnets on his personal white Ford pick up truck during the months preceding the election. That pickup truck was parked at the Salisbury Fire Department displaying those election magnets every time Crash O'Barsky worked or attended meetings.

Ordinance No. 2522- 1st reading- amending the FY2019 General Fund budget to adjust the Salisbury Fire Department’s Pay Plan for the purpose of recruiting and retaining experienced officers and to be competitive with area agencies

Another ripoff of the taxpayers. Please tell us what fire officers they are trying to recruit and retain? The officers are always promoted from within!!

Please tell us what officers the Salisbury Fire Department is trying to retain? Never in the history of the Salisbury Fire Department has a paid officer left the Salisbury Fire Department to go work for another Fire Department as a Fire Officer. ALL paid fire departments promote within and NEVER EVER hire another fire officer from a different fire department.

Please tell us what paid fire officer in the Salisbury Fire Department is worth more pay and being recruited by other paid fire departments? Let me make that easy for you to answer. NO ONE!!

Please tell us what other area agencies they want to compete with? All the other "area agencies" are volunteer with volunteer officers so there is no competition to pay volunteer officers because they fight fires for free!
